Yeah, I'm selling more stuff on offerup than any other method.

At first I wasn't having much luck on there but lately tons of people interested. Some crappy offers and some good. When I meet people I take other products along, couple times I've had them buy more than what they just came for.

Tomorrow I have 3 possibly 4 people meeting me after work at the Sheetz gas station 1 mile from my house. I will soon need a designated spot there to sell stuff lol

If anyone noticed there's a TON of these "value" packs of stone mosaic type tiles (usually in the middle lane of the store). They're currently $4.99/sheet (or $25 per box).

Last time (after xmas) they dropped a similarly boxed tile mosaic to $3.50 per BOX (5 sheets per box). That's a ridiculous price for tile.

I'm not sure when the price drop happens but it had to be at least 1-2 months after the big sale event.

The Allen store is a flagship model store when it comes to stock efficiency, very few clearance items never a penny deal as they work at pulling them before it gets that low.

Which one in Plano? One off 75 gets hit as soon as stuff gets a yellow clearance tag according to the people working there.

Good to know about Allen as we just moved into the area. I went to the one on Parker and Spring Creek in Plano.

I need to go to Richardson and Garland so I'll check out there as well.

Always carry protection

I usually search the phone number / email against facebook and google. If they look "questionable" or I cant find anything on them I'll ask them to meet me at the local sheriffs office parking lot. Have only had a couple decline and if they agree I usually change the place to somewhere more convenient.

No ridgid gennies anywhere around here, asked the associates and they mentioned they don't carry them in this region. Wonder if that's true? All we have are dewalt, ryobi, powerstroke.

Also. that dewalt 20v combo pack has been on the clearance end caps for months I feel like. Still hasn't moved at the $100 price point.

Also, I see the chainsaws and the compressors aren't moving that well, is that correct? Makes me feel a little better about not scoring them.

I've moved like 8 of the chainsaws. Compressors aren't doing to well though.

Found some nice .03 scores yesterday. I checked one store that had a KO set I knew of and it was gone. Checked local inventory and showed 0 around. However a week later getting mulch checked a light fixture the wife was eyeing and saw this one sitting under a bulb display.

May have lasted but didn't want to chance. Need to knock some holes soon.

Then this was a surprise. Same store I walked to the back towards the restrooms and it was the rug clearance section or something. Must have been stashed somewhere. Was really dusty. For $10 a great deal.

I apologize for not posting many deals lately. To be honest, I haven't really been to HD deal searching in probably a few months. There doesn't seem to really be much up here to warrant spending a ton of time. Most everything that has been posted lately is gone up here. I think even SPN is getting discouraged haha.

I would love to pickup one of those DW745 table saws at a decent price. All stores around here are OOS though... I have an upcoming door installation project that will require me to rip some trim boards.

I sold one of the chainsaws, got a guy coming to get the other today. Only had one air compressor, Got a price adjustment on it yesterday (my first) but don't plan on selling it.

It's funny here, either the store carries the CS's and they are full price or they only carry the electric model.

That's how most stores are here. Got lucky and found a pallet of 6 in a store that was showing 1 in stock. Last week I found those, a wine cooler, a compressor, and a pressure washer all in stores that were showing OOS.

Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the pix of that starter kit.I see them around me and figure they aren't worth it at that price..

As for the generators, Ryobi they have had for awhile, and Dewalt and powerstroke are the new brands in the stores..Was gonna say if you're close to a big city you might have a better shot of finding them..Then I reread and you said not in this region at all:(. Even by me they are tough to find now(burbs), but in city i see them still.

I think that's typical. When it drops down it shows OOS. At least around here. Specifically the .03 items. .00 items usually hang on the inventory for a while but eventually drop out.

That looks like the box I saw at my HD. How much should that saw be? I'll have to go tonight to get it down from the shelf.

For a brand new one. (When they drop) it should be 28? Not in an all messed up box. I'd say buy it if it's the same one. Then return rebuy it in two weeks. Some stores have dropped and some have not.

Yeah, I'm about 20mins south of Miami and visit "city" stores often but find the complete opposite as I find more brands/products at stores outside the City. I feel down here it's a little different as we have a bigger resident population in the Cities burbs then actually in the City of Miami. All of Miami-Dade county is pretty populated. I like the burb stores better since they seem BIGGER and to me that means more inventory to get lost!!!

Yeah, these were probably on display or boxes got jacked up..I've seen some rough boxes with these, and then seen some boxes that looked like they were guarded at fort Knox.Would have preferred in the box BUT at another 25% off each one because no box,I can manage to live with that.:lol:Going to visit that store more often!

i have found a lot of the unboxed units on pallets in the rafters over the past few months. i haven't been out in a while to actually look for anything. Race season is here so HD visits have slowed way down.... :lol_hitti

Yup, and if I'm buying unboxed I'm going to go for a little more of a discount. Doubt I'll get 25% off again on a clearance deal like the 2 generators, but who knows..

Will say since i put generator up this morning,a TON of offers..Not quite a offer i want yet though.

Sold 4 of the 14" chainsaws and 1 one of the 16". Got a penny medicine cabinet today, an $8 mark down 18" chainsaw chain, and a penny american standard marquette.

Hampton bay wood blinds hit penny a few days ago and MET is removing them from the shelves. I only scored one.

Someone else is clearing out my area also. Can find some little things for a penny but nothing high dollar. I don't really aim to get high dollar things but if I can resell and pay for my other purchases, that's good enough.

How often do you guys check on .03 items. Especially with an active MET team. I'm sure it varies by store but I'd like to keep a leg up if possible. Twice a week?

Lately I've tended to buy at .03 level. So I check on .06 stuff whenever Im there which is usually during a lunch break. I hit up 2 or 3 local stores each week on random days during the week.

Thanks. This one is close enough I go easily during lunch. Maybe Monday and Thursday would be good days.

Some things I'll jump on the .03. Like the Klein KO set. Others like some light fixtures I'm ok waiting to see if I can snag even cheaper. Especially when there's 3 and kinda tucked away. Still in clearance, but not an endcap, and in the back of the store, on the floor. Might have a chance.
