Kwickset locks dropped to .03 today localy, just bought 18 sets ranging from 21.03 to 32.03

got 2 of the knockout punch sets one Klein and one greenlee, the greenlee is a much better deal as its a 200 set on ebay, the klein is pulling 130-140

Are the kwicksets profitable? Unless they have decent margins on ebay I'm not interested until penny status

Computer showed 1 Homelite pressure washer and 1 ryobi gas blower. Probably displays but I ran out of time. Probably in the overhead somewhere.

After a barrage of using the 20% off Harbor Freight coupons over the past few days, I finally got shotdown today. This was after I went though the SCO attendant 10 minutes earlier and used one.

When I came back in, I went to the lumber checkout and attendant said no but called MOD over who also said no. She finally called the Store Manager and she said no. I showed her about 5 receipts from other HD's where the coupon was applied but was still denied. Bummer.

Quick stop by local..Didn't have big ticket items that dropped.. but will hit up some more stores tomorrow. Wouldn't mind finding these..could be a great flip.

Just a quick off-topic heads-up. One of the Husky silent compressors I got has a leaking regulator and a sticking gauge. I tried to get it fixed under warranty but was told there are no parts available. It's 2 days old and was told to deal with it or return it.

Since it's $50+ to buy the parts from California Air Tools I'll just piece together something better using some of the IR clearance stuff we got a year or two ago.

Found a stores hidey hole today, went in looking for a dewalt quiet or husky 30 gallon, both showed 1 on hand but found nothing. Husky 20 gallon with tool kit and silent flow showed 0 on hand yet this was hidden in the door isle pretty well on the top rack.

The cheap husky 3 pack of air lines dropped again also.

Update: i did a return/rebuy on the Husky tool cart i originally bought for $45. They let me rebuy it for the last clearance price $23.02. Also picked up a penny husky 14in rolling tote tool bag at home depot at The Colony. There were two, but i saw someone get the other one as i was walking out the door.

Wiped all those Dewalts out in my area about 3 weeks ago. Wonder if I can get a price adjustment if it's been under 30 days. :dunno:

I saw one of the 14" chainsaws at the store near me up on the top shelf. Are they are on sale or does it depend on the store?

depends on the store some are first level pricing while others hit second level. Still not worth buying here since its only at first level clearance.

This was still $99 at my store. Had to grab it off of a higher shelf and thought I got lucky....

Managed to find 1 of the 30gal ultra quiet husky compressors. PCA showed 2 but there was only 1 in top stock. It took them over an hour to find someone certified to get it down. Then they said the other 1 was on a pallet with 2 other compressors shrink wrapped in receiving with a note not to sell. I told them to ask a manager about it and the manager said "we got you 1 thats the best we can do" i told the associate to ask the store manager and to have him call me about it. Im sure they wont so i guess i will try again tomorrow on my lunch break. Chances are its already gone. Everyone was talking about what a good deal it was so im sure someone took it home.

hit and miss for sure.
garden center checkout is automatic every time at both hd and lowes
