Has anyone else noticed the 2 different 30 gallon air compressors in the PCA at their stores?

The quiet one is 155 psi & 1.6 HP, the one I got (same SKU) 135 psi & 1.6 HP

The sku on the box matched Ultra quiet sku & UPC & model name but compressor only says 135psi on it.

On HD.com model # is different for the quiet as to whats listed in PCA.

PCA- C301H (ULTRA) .COM- C302H

I advertised $250, negotiated $220

Specs seem off for what I bought though. see above post

That's weird. Did they ring up at $110? I've seen two stores with a ridgid mitre saw in stock for $150. Model number r4122 but they rang up for $299. I know the r4120 has been $150 for awhile, I guess something got screwed up between the he two models.

At this store they keep them behind the service desk. There was another set back there that somebody else bought. Not wooried, they would just have to give me the other 52"set thats not on clearance. works for me either way!!

And them Egos seem like they might be a tough flip..I'm suppose to have one sold tommorow, but not generating any action at all.. which is a shame because there are a alot around here.

Ya well you had action on the drain cleaners, and there is ABSOLUTELY no action on the drain cleaners down here.......So sometimes the drain is clear and good and other times it's backed up. HA

I haven't been trout fishing for a while, kind of went to the inshore route for a while. Probably get back to it soon. There's plenty around, but I don't know that there's any I could specifically recommend around here. I would be more inclined to reccomended you head towards the mountains. Like up near Williamsport

He may have been hinting that if you put him on a trout stream, he might put you on a 30 gal compressor. hahahah

Yeah still came up $110 so I bought it. I didn't know if the 135 psi would steer people away from it as opposed to the 155 psi, so first decent offer I took it. Going back tomorrow morning to get the 2nd one, hopefully still there :eyecrazy:

Found a 52" Husky toolbox tonight for $125.03. Actually saw them in stock (showing 2 in stock) while checking at a different store. Headed over to the store they showed them at and found it tucked up in the rafters by the lumber.

Guy working put the sku in his handheld and it actually showed 3 in stock but could only find the one. The 2 guys that helped me load it said that 1 was all they knew of...

It actually had a will call tag on it but the date was from early last month.

I was that previous poster

Was just curious if Jake was able to buy them and if so how much. I've still got my eyes on a few of them. Look to be really nice coolers and should flip quick if they can be had for the right price.

Seen them on the interwebs 225-399....would be a good flip. Imagine the Deere fan boys that would kill for that cooler?

Stop by HD on Tuesday and compressors were at 122.06 with five in stock. I found 2 but decided to wait until .03. The very next day, Wednesday, they dropped to 50.03 but stock was zero. Was I pissed. (G^&D*$ SWOYER). I checked and what do you know, three were still in the rafters. CSR didn't believe they were there since inventory was zero, but I scored all three.

I would apologize to Swoyer but I know he beat me to several .03 items.;)

Compared the UPC? I've seen a few items that where updated but kept the same sku. All the old ones where gone but it showed a similar number to what I counted of the new style.

I didn't get any. Just 1 tonight up at Roosevelt. These guys haven't learned that there's like 2 million idiots watching this thread and like 20 people sharing. Gotta let it ride for a week haha get your stuff out then post the deal after you get what you need.

Was that Upper Darby? I took a look around today on my way to sell a pressure washer and it appeared stripped thought there was a ton of compressors on the floor. Looked like a ton of boxes laying around.

Tonight's haul. Got the trimmers for $45.03 ea. And the Husky nailer was $25.03 but was missing the mini palm nailer. I asked to get a better price but they wouldn't go lower then $20. I said F it and gave it to them I don't need it.

Found 2 of the Ego trimmers @ 45.03. One store was still at 135.06, another was 45.03 and yet another was actually at a penny. These 3 stores are within a 10 mile radius of each other.
Flipping on Ebay could be costly. The trimmers measure 88 inches total girth, it does not qualify as a package, you have to send it at the large parcel rate.

I put in the dimensions on eBay and with fedex ground it seems to have no issue with the 88-90 Length. It will be costly to ship but make the buyer pay for that and lower your price a little. Still can make $60+or so on the flip. Obv selling local would be ideal on these.

If there's this will call/delivery sticker on an item does that mean the item is already paid for? Found one of the compressors with this on it but it's showing 1 still in stock so I figure it hasn't been paid for. And if it's still there tomorrow I would figure I could pick it up since they only hold stuff for one day to my understanding.

Got assured today that corporate policy is to not allow clearance items to be placed on will call... Weird how that's the only store to ever say that knowing ahead of time that they're clearence.

Found A LOT of Cree 10 watt (60 watt equiv) and 6 watt (40 watt equiv) bulbs
at an HD store yesterday (Southeastern MA). They were priced
at $0.97 EACH, down from $6.97. It's not an advertised price on their website.
not indicated as a utility rebate either!

I bought a few...so look at your local store, maybe they have it too.

It's just funny because I've put a lot of things on will call at other stores even though they've been on clearance.

The 52" Husky box i got tonight had a will call note on it from last month. Surely it was on clearance then if it's at 03 right now? :dunno:

to the guy who said he found 30gal compressors that were technically 2 diff models, i think i have run into that... i didnt read too much into it until i saw your post but im fairly certain there are 2 diff 30 gallon compressors.
edit: at least 1 of mine is that 135psi model... the other one has the box still on it so i cant tell for sure. it does not say silent flow or quiet or anything...

is anyone getting in on the dewalt 20v stuff that come in the black cases? are those good deals or no?
$100 for the brushed drill/impact/flashlight with small batteries, $140 for brushless drill/impact/flashlight and small batteries, $200 for brushless drill/impact/flashlight, bigger batteries and additional sawzall... the black cases are quite nice and go for $50 by themselves

I noticed today some stores had yellow price in the PCA and others didn't for the 30 gallon compressor. I assume mine is the crappy loud one.

Exactly what I'm doing, I've had a couple hits at $140 on offer up and I just listed them last night. Also had a couple messages on eBay when I woke up this morning. No bites but have a lot of foot traffic for less then 24hrs I've had them listed.

There's actually 2 models of the 20 gallon also. With and without the tool. The sku says it comes with the tool. My box doesn't. :dunno

Actually I put my 52 inch tool boxes in will call yesterday paid for them and they slap a wheel call sticker on them. And you actually have 7 days to pick them up before they go back to the floor.

This is what I was told as well. I think if you pay they will hold it, but if you just ask if they can set it aside they won't.

I called Monday and paid for a 30gal compressor. They said I had 7 days to pick it up and to let them know a few hours ahead so they could bring it out front.

I hope I am getting the quiet one and not the other as well...

EDIT, my e-receipt lists 135psi...

The picture of the VT6315 posted a few pages back is only a single cylinder, while the description says twin. Google of VT6315 shows a red "Husky Pro" single cylinder.

There is definitely something weird going on with these. Everything I find online for C301H says nothing about "quiet" or "155psi" (neither of which are listed on the sale card a few pages back). The C302H (which is on HD.com and is the replacement) is 155psi and "ultra quiet". Maybe a description error on HDs end?

Has anyone purchased and opened the VT6315 sold under the same SKU as the C301H which was posted a few pages back? What was in the box?

Could this be why I can't find one lol I only wanted the "ultra quiet". I saw a few of the others.

Only the ultra quiet on sale here. When I tried to get one of the others they wouldn't budge. Matter of fact, the new non-ultra just got installed on the pallets for display. Was told ultra has been discontinued for about 3 months now and no stores should have them in Stock. Maybe this is a mixup in their system, idk.

What is telling you it's "ultra quiet" though besides the description in the PCA? Nothing I have seen tells me the C301H is ultra quiet. The C302H which appears to be the replacement and is listed on HD.com does say "ultra quiet".

I think they mixed the description of the C301H and C302H up.
