Mainly pca, but I vaguely recall it saying ultra quiet on the compressor when I was trying to buy the 6 gallon ultra quiet. You could very well be right on the mislabeled descriptions.

Ya, I really have no idea either... Just speculation at this point.

I really have no clue what the VT6315 is...

There's actually 2 models of the 20 gallon also. With and without the tool. The sku says it comes with the tool. My box doesn't. :dunno

there is 3 of the 30 gallon compressors, the C302h is the replacement for the c301h both 155psi and identical from what I can see. I swear one store slapped the new upc, sku and model number on the old compressor they had on the floor. Shows up at $436 in store. Couple of stores have them around here all ready

That is the non ultra quiet version. The ultra quiet version has a wide compressor and pulley setup. Just FYI. Buy that generator now, it won't be long before it's gone.

Where did you see that the 301H is 155psi? The sale card below specifically says 135psi as does every link I have google searched? I agree that the 302 is 155psi though.

As does this:
http://www.aircompressorsdirect.com/Husky-C301H-Air-Compressor/p12164.html

and this:
http://www.manualslib.com/manual/762335/Husky-C301h.html?page=6#manual

I strongly believe that the description we are seeing in the PCA is of the 302H with the 301H SKU/Model.

The way I see it is this:

C301H (723883): 30gal, 135psi, twin, non-quiet, looks identical to newer C302H

C302H (1001655406): 30gal, 155psi, twin, quiet, looks identical to and is replacement for C301H

VT6315 (723883): 30gal, 135psi, single cylinder

Keep in mind, "quiet" is pretty relative and the current one (C302H) is oil-lubricated, thats how its quiet.

My ages old Husky Pro (Campbell Hausfeld manufactured) oil-lube compressor is rated at 76db. The "quiet" Husky in question is rated at 75db. (I realize how db ratings work, +3b is double the SPL, etc....but we're not talking a major difference here)

This doesnt seem to be a case where Husky rebadged a CAT compressor so its probably "quiet" because it isnt as noisy as other oil-less compressors because it isnt oil-less.

Compressor not for me.. any reason this one isn't good? Actually got a 6800 watt Ridgid for $299,generator. So I'm good..next drop and these will flip better.

It seems like its the same as any other oil-less 30 gallon compressor, nothing special. Maybe if the price is right (I havent been keeping track of all the compressors in this thread)

If you want quiet you'll want an oil-lubed compressor. As Swoyer mentioned, you can usually tell the difference between oil and oil-less because oil-less will have the motor/pump mounted directly to the top of the tank whereas oil-lubed will have some sort of platform where the pump and motor mount to. Oil-lubed are also usually (always?) belt driven so you'll see a belt too.

If you can find the oil-lube done at 110 Id call that a good deal.

Oil-less at 110 is still an OK deal.

on the store display when I asked about it when it was still 369 a while back in this thread but it had a recon sku. I'll see if I still have the picture on my phone.

even if its 135 you can adjust the switch, its the same tank, pump and motor on all the box store 30 gallon oil compressors, all made by the same people and rebadged. Some are 135 others 155.

dewalt skus as requested:
1001542280 $100 brushed 3pc: drill, impact, flashlight
1000714832 $100 brushed 2pc: drill, impact
1001529455 $140 brushless (3pc i think): HAMMERdrill, impact, flashlight
1000012572 $140 brushless (2pc i think): hammerdrill (?), impact
1001529263 $200 brushless (looked like best deal, looked similar to the 3pc but larger batteries, larger case, and sawzall. not sure if its a drill or a hammerdrill on this set)

fyi i think the 2pc ones come in a carfboard box or bag, not sure. the 3pc and the 4pc come in a distinguised black hardcase and the skus can be hard to spot. happy hunting and expect a swarm of employees to buy em up when they come down.

im not familiar with the dewalt line but are the brushed ones a good deal at $100 with such small batteries? thats all i have found so far. i think the brushless ones at $140 look like the better deal. (edit: i found brushless 3 pc and its a hamemrdril, so its light yrs better imo)

unfortunately the 3pc brushless sets i found are made in mexico... i dunno.. lots of new dewalt boxes say 'made in usa of usa and global materials' im not familiar with the dewalt line at all so i dunno what is what, but i suppose 'made in mexico' is a knock on this set... but then again most drill cant even say made in usa of global material so im not sure if it matters..

and i will post again: i have access to new heated dewalt jackets. they are the carhartt-syle ones, black only, doesnt come with battery. i linked it a couple days ago. its not at HD, but i can get them cheap if someone wants to arrange a trade of some sort. sizes L, XL, XXL only.

This is a 20 gallon. Was $50. Going to throw a framing nailer with it and see what it'll flip for. Everybody on store was wondering how I found it.

Both of the ones I sold were opened by the new owner and they were twin cylinder and 135 PSI. Heavy duty compressor for $110
The units were packed well (I transported them on their side)
I was able to get 2 in the back of a Buick Enclave.....

If anyone is able to get an extra Husky nailer, I may be interested at the right price, PM me. For what I would use it for, it should be fine.

I see this a lot. There's a ton of people selling stuff a clearance cost. Is that because they got it for a penny? Stole it? Are idiots? I dunno.

yes .....HD the other day waiting on some things brought down from rafters. Started talking about the new Milwaukee line coming out with the blue tooth and phone app.

Guy said he watched a customer walk in. Grab 5 cases and run out the door.

That night saw new Milwaukee set on CL for 200.00 :lol_hitti:dunno:

I'm developing a similar new strategy. It's better than penny deals. :3gears:

oh i forgot to mention:
an ego mower was down to $374.. i dont watch these but i know it was 399 previously

there were more husky black friday drops on stuff like 3pk hoses for 5.03,all other hoses, accessories, and the flashlights and headlamps are down to .03 everywhere too. the headlamps and flashlights are the unbreakable variety and led. definitely worth the price for the ones that run on aa or aaa batteries imo.

If there's this will call/delivery sticker on an item does that mean the item is already paid for? Found one of the compressors with this on it but it's showing 1 still in stock so I figure it hasn't been paid for. And if it's still there tomorrow I would figure I could pick it up since they only hold stuff for one day to my understanding.

Looked for the 52" Husky on CL. It is local for $400. Wonder if it is Coral nut.

Still going to try and find one and replace what was stolen. It was an old, old, snap-on box. Lucky my really nice tools were in my portable box and in the back of my explorer that weekend.

But my favorite pin up girl is gone.

VT6315 (723883): 30gal, 135psi, single cylinder

Both the C302H and the C301H are 75 dBA. Even the link you provided for the C301H shows 75 dBA under the specifications tab. I think the only diff is the 135psi vs 155psi.

I see that as well.

My 30 gallon is the c301h, 135 psi, oiled. Is the other $110 model better?

I don't know if anyone knows what the deal is with the other that was posted a few pages back. The description to the right of the picture says "twin", but the picture is obviously of a single, also when I google VT6315, it comes up with a "husky pro" single cylinder. I imagine the picture in the PCA may be wrong.

That will call is bs.. I think it's employees buying them or buddies... After Yu call them to place it on will call or buy.. They find out the clearance price, guess what..they can't find it all of sudden.. Employees or friends buy or place will call labels on it. They get it after work.. Haha. Must be new trick.

I haven't really looked at the Dewalt box, but the 41" Husky I got last fall is very nice and sturdy. I assume the 52" is just as good. In your case where you couldn't get the 52" Husky I can see, but if I was given the opportunity at both, I don't think I could justify the extra $75 for the Dewalt over the Husky.

Anyone flip the knock out tools yet? Wondering if its worth it at 69.03. One store shows 0 but has 3

Have not had one call. That is the way cl is. I bought a 026508224069 banbury for a penny. The sco was messed up and it would not price check. She scanned and it was a penny so she had to call. The donkey mod was going by and told her to sell it. He is the one that will not speak to me.

I mean it's super ugly. So is the Milwaukee. But I like the integrated outlets and such. It's a small touch and you could probably just put one on yours but for the 75 bucks it's nice. If you can get over the "look at me yellow"
