Thanks for your help. I may go back tomorrow for it, but Im not getting my hopes up. Here lately, I've been having super bad luck with anyone above the level of associate.

At the same store I saw a Vissani 50 bottle cooler in a yellow box in the overhead and remembered someone posting a picture of a Vissani in a yellow box that was either on clearance or a penny. I couldn't see a sku on it anywhere and couldn't find it in the PCA. Can anyone tell me if this is it?

SKU is printed on the box, I think right near the UPC. Do a search for Vissani on the computer, should only have 1 page of results, and check if the Wine Cooler shows up. If not, it's a penny. Also, check what they have on display.

I think it's this one, 922501

This mistagging of the compressors is kind of ridiculous on HDs part. I also don't understand them selling the 302 as the 301. It's not hard to look at the model on the tank and show the buyer that it doesn't match the model of the clearance compressor regardless of how it's tagged IMO. As a buyer, I may try to buy it if they have the clearance sticker on the wrong item, but if the manager showed me the model discrepancy I'm not sure I could push them into selling it to me nor would I feel comfortable putting them in that position. Either the employees/managers are really dumb or they just don't care.

Saw this sitting in the overhead today:

MBI 4 Drawer Chest

Tried looking up the sku but it was already being used for something else. Does anyone know if stores actually carried these and if so, what they sold for?

I didn't even notice mine was wrong until i got home. Not a bad deal at all. They obviously dont care a bit. If they care that little to check something so easy before tagging it then oh well. The lady at customer service kept on saying how awesome of a deal it was. I had to agree.

Just sold the 30 gallon compressor for $300..not too shabby. Now I need to find another one to keep for myself.
That sounds right.. And a killer deal for buyers. People selling lower then that is giving it away... I don't see a lot of competition for this a that price.

That's not the clearance wine cooler. That's one of the newer models they just got. The 28 bottle is the one on clearance if you can find it. Yellow box but skinnier. Some stores are finally starting to clearance the beverage cooler as well.. Took awhile around here.

yep after it was all said and done I had 1 radio and 6 free batteries

I did it a little differently. I sold all of the Ryobi radios (except one) and batteries separate, and used the combined profit to offset the 2 large batteries that I bought. It works out about the same I guess. I would do it again, but I could see how some would say it is more trouble than it's worth.

Do all of the HD's clearance out the same things across all of the stores? I've been looking at the compressors to get one for my shop but the one that is on clearance that you guys have been buying is still full price at the HD here in South Dakota.

No. All stores do it at different times.

Those vissani's are a funny thing. Most of the stores pennied them and the few stores that remained just jacked the price back up. They've been hovering from $328-400 ever since. One store had, at one time, 27 of them all on the floor. Now they still have them but up in the rafters. Can't wait for penny again.

Or what about these?
Those got replaced with the exact same thing but 9 drawer instead of 10 drawer. The top drawer on the 9 drawer is long and skinny and 10 drawer the top is split into 2 like all the other drawers. Thought I had them awhile back but it was all the new ones.

Dunno but it pennied out in 9-9-2015, probably will show up "not found" at the register. Bring some flowers for the manager and use some sweet talk

i have seen a few random tool chests at diff stores in overhead... 4 of 5 times associate said that someone ordered it online and still hasnt picked it up after months and months and that they technically cant sell it

Or what about these?
There are two versions of the 52" on closeout. They look the same but different sku and model. Both have 10 drawers.

There is also a 46" one with 9 drawers on closeout.

Whats more important, brand loyalty or killer deals? :)

I knew where a 52" Husky was but reading the opinions compared to the DeWalt box, I decided to pass it onto someone else.

I already have the 41" Husky that clearanced in the fall. If I were to buy another huge box I would prefer the DeWalt because its built better, or the Milwaukee because it isnt bright yellow (but at 200.00 I think I could deal with yellow!)

Does anyone have a copy of any rebate forms that are still within 60 days but older than the March 27-April 2 form?

How do these compressors compare to the 33 gallon DeWalt? They almost look the same just different names. Just curious

ha yea, i knew i should have been keeping track of those while i was seeing them everywhere while looking for the one from last week...

I checked two stores this morning and they haven't dropped at all. I thought the 215 was the new model. I wonder if that store just has something goofy going on.

Every store I went in last week had the 215 cabinet, usually 10 or so of them. All were full price.

Nah, meant the Husky for 75.03. Dewalts are probably impossible to find.

Also those 8 husky were all gone. Guy bought em all day before.still decent trip at this store..Scored..

Dewalt 3 piece for 100.00
Ridgid 2 piece 140.00
Ridgid 2 piece missing manual 100.00
Ridgid 5700 watt generator 299.00

This store is one of coolest I go to. While I w as in the esomebody tried to return a penny item..Freaking hilarious!!!! Bad thing is associate said they moan and probably get store credit. Was a drill bit. Time to hit next store!

Turns out the store I thought had a bunch of those Ridgid kits actually has the newer non-clearanced kit at the shelf spot with the clearanced price tag. Oh well.

I think I found a 5700 generator too but cant imagine holding onto that while I try to flip it. I assume maximum profit will come when hurricanes are threatening, which is too many months from now :)

I bought 7 of those ryobi radios when they were on sale for 18.63. then sold the radios on ebay for 15 and the chargers for 10 but kept the batteries. Now I keep waiting on the 6 port chargers.

I heard that the 6 port charger does not work too well. You have to put all the batteries in at the same time, their is only one control for all ports. Better off with mulitple separate chargers.

Also, saw these yesterday;
The sku for the headlamp is 1000043819. It was 8.83
The 2 piece clipper set was 3.53 (or similar). Don't have the sku right now.
