The real problem with this situation is that the items were back in receiving.They were on 2 different pallets in top rack when I found them. Ed promised to put them together and wrap them up and put will call sticker on them. He did do that..Problem is an EMPLOYEE, per the manager,and another guy that watched video,went back into receiving and even though it was tagged with my name and wrapped and showed I paid. He still proceeded to cut open paid for stuff and remove 2 generators.they say later in day a online order came thru and employee went to back receiving and used the stuff I had paid for already to fulfill his order. Instead of calling him to say sorry we don't have anymore.
I DON'T want the employee to lose his job..Not that serious to me,but there is a problem that they need to address on how will call is handled.Also simple fact is, if HD themselves,manager and especially corporate, had thought nothing was done wrong in this situation,they would have told me to kick rocks so fast my head would have spun!!
Also I too like to see the deals people score! My wife gets the biggest laugh every time I tell her some of the deals we score.
I have a buddy that I tried to teach how to do this.Told him we could go together. He NEVER wants to take me up on it,BUT every week I get asked did I run across a great miter saw cause he needs one,really!!! Love him, but hope he's prepared to spend quite a bit on that dual bevel sliding Dewalt or Bosch he's after.
