I tried looking for the EGO trimmers, but could not find any. Guess someone beat me to it.

Darn. I've left so many behind in original boxes too. I have two on offerup and just received one lowball offer for $40 lol usually my stuff moves in the same day. This things have been on there for a week now.
jI saw the old style Ryobi Power head for attachments today for $15. Was going to grab one but they didn't have any attachments.
Also those Ego trimmers are so cheap just buy 2 mainly for the extra battery. The battery alone is $129.
Found some cheap lights. The maglites are bright!

I keep seeing the 20 and 30 gallon compressors that should be on sale at full price [emoji27]
Had a nice couple of days.
They are doing a reset on ceiling fans 5/1. There are so many fans of clearance it's ridiculous. I will wait till the next price drop on them. Personally need a few for the house.

so jarred I imagine with your april join date. And your great haul this past day or two. . You going to become a prolific contributor to GJ ...and bring to us the deals you find by yourself?
Or are you simply going to post pictures of things you find via the posts of those that do the work and find the clearance items that HD has...that they don't advertise, but yet sell. I.E. You have to go and spend the time to find out what is on sale. It's not listed on the item or even on the shelf...it's just in the system........
I wait with baited breath when you will post the first deal........

Yeah the only ones I have seen are the 15" ones or whatever. Have not seen the 12" ones that are on clearance

I've literally scored the motherload on vacation. It's a long list but I've flipped almost everything except for some tool carts, blowers, and toilets that I want to keep.
American Standard Cadet 3 Toilet (in a variety of models...10/12" rough-in, round/elongated, UHET or dual flush) is $50.03.
I've been to 3 stores with over 20+ in stock. I'm debating if it's worth negotiating on them when they turn penny. I've already found a few models at penny and negotiated them down to almost nothing.

Yes I joined here recently but sorry I knew of Home Depot deals before I knew of Garage Journal. I was just mainly focused on two categories before.
Sorry to burst your bubble but I found the Egos Kleins and chainsaws via yellow tags before I joined here. Yes who ever posted the Ridgid and Homelite deals thank you.
I posted about the Ryobi Power heads (forgot to take a pic) the flashlights, and about the fan reset/clearance. Sorry I haven't seen a deal as good as the generators to post, but I'm at multiple stores daily. I travel across country for work and am always at HDs. When I do see some deals that aren't already posted here I'll put it here. Hope you have a better day.
BTW I have seen the ego lawnmowers in systems for $270 but they never have them. The stores I do see with them are $399.

Has anyone seen anything on these Homelite 5000 watt generators? It wasn't in the system and the manager said he would only let it go for $599, sine they had a Powerstroke 5000 watt for that price. I tried to talk him down and he would only take off $20.

It seems as though some people in here feel this is the only place to find out they have deals at HomeDepot..
As great as this group is in posting deals, the deals are only good if the local store uses that price. I have used the computers at the store for a while to look up prices, way before is knew of this group. I am thankful for some of the deals posted lately that I did find from this group. I will be contributing a lot now that I am here.
I also had a issue at a HD this morning trying to return a penny item they changed the price to last clearance. They used a generic sku to put in the last clearance price. I went to return it to a different store, one by my shop, and they were trying not to accept it. I had to get the manager and he was trying to deny it. He said they should have not changed the price and should never had sold the item. I would have to take it back there. I pointed out no where in their policy does it state I have to return the item to the same exact store I bought it from. He finally caved and refunded me. He stated to me if that store was on top of their game, those items wouldn't be on the shelf. I found that statement pretty funny when I found the exact item on their shelf 5 minutes later. Maybe ill go back after their shift change and grab it for a penny this time. The other store had the clearance sticker next to the original barcode and I think it detected both codes when i scanned it. The item is the black and decker grass shears.

Easy chief. We all have to join sometime don't we? Should I have joined last March... would that make you happier? I am sure I will find something new soon enough, but probably not during 2 5 minute trips to HD with a wife in one ear and a baby crying in the other. Just getting my feet wet. I have done my homework and read over the entire post and tried not to just jump in and start asking about old items like an idiot. I knew exactly what it was, I found one I the store and it had just dropped out of the system entirely. So instead of ringing up a penny the please see attendant bubble popped up and the ever competent HD employees weren't wanting to sell it to me. I had deleted all pics of it I had on my phone so needed something to show them last clearance price.

No, he jumped on him before he asked about the 10 month old pressure washer deal. Looks like those posts are gone now.
Basically Jarreds posted pics of a haul he has picked up and crzipilot blamed him for being a free-rider and asked when he was going to contribute. "Reaping" deals without posting any. I pointed out you had just got deals before posting any of your own finds (as many many people do and have done and will continue to do, obviously 9/10 times people are going to find deals that have been posted before making their first finds). Nothing wrong with it in my eyes. Everyone is going to learn somehow and learning by deals we know should be a deal is a semi easy way to start.
Like I said it was not a shot at you, just asking for clarification about when we should jump on someone for "free-riding" vs when we should not because it had just happened back to back. 2 guys joined in Apr 2016 and posted they had bought deals that have already been posted. One guy gets blasted for being a bum, the other nothing is said.

I didn't post the twin maglites because I wanted to be sure I got some at 03 level. I grabbed 7 of them yesterday. Gosh they are bright. But I haven't seen these posted.

Went to a virgin store to me yesterday and got caught on my third trip out the door with penny items. Second trip had these lamps.

Thought I was getting lucky as each time within the span of thirty minutes there was a new person watching SCO. This little woman stopped the transaction as soon as it rang and said no. Then this woman who I assume was straight out of the city said no she needs manager approval. Got my hopes up they were just going to let me take them. So I wait then I hear they are Fity. Excuse me? They are Fity each. Oh fifty cents each OK. NO they are 50 dollars each. Oh, then you can keep them. Your not going to buy them they are $200 new each. Nope, they are old and out of style, you can keep em and I walked out the door while they held their mouths open. I don't think they have seen the likes of us so I may have a new favorite store.

For anything stereo related like binding posts, wall covers, adapters go to monoprice.com. you can't beat their prices. I think I paid like $1.50 for 2 post wall plates!

Agree very nice. Don't let them brow beat you. I had one lady act like I was stealing the cordless trimmer when i priced check it in self checkout (not on sale or a penny there). She insisted she will put it back. whatever, go ahead.

Found A Nearly New Paslode framing nailer in tool rental. Talk to the manager about purchasing it since it is now the old model. Was turned down and told tool rental is a separate Department. Bummer.

I took jareds tone as such that he had been lurking for some time. As this thread, you don't even have to be registered to read it.
As those that hunt know. It's not the easiest game in town to get or even find some of these deals.
So his tone and his pics made it seemed as though he was fairly seasoned, and possibly just joined to post his pics "of his finds" sorta like the guys complaining of some of the banter on here.
As most people know who try this out....these deals don't jump off the shelves into your laps. The leg work foot work, then the actually finding it in stores. it's funny as even some of the seasoned guys, leave stuff behind at their store (I too travel all over the country to majority of the major cities and get to hit HD's from East coast to West coast)
Sorta like the guys complaining of some of the banter on here.
Now as to the pass on Nasonjo. Well if you had read a few pages back, he was essentially introduced by GMC. So those of us around knew he was a coworker and GMC had introduced him to the thread and the ropes of what they are doing. And if you go back through the years...you'll see GMC and SPN are some of the biggest contributors here.....so I guess a friend of GMC does get a pass.....
Anyways back to my lurking......as I shouldn't have opened my mouth at all.......
