Does anyone know if it would be okay to transport the 52" Husky Toolchest on it's side while still packaged in the box?
No problem on side.

What is a problem is a C302H compressor. At store I saw this week on the top shelve. I got the tool dept head over and pointed up and asked you see that? He said yea, what, do you want that model? To play along I said sure. I wait for them to get the picker for ten minutes the guy goes to swing it on the platform and the bottom side of the box falls apart and he starts complaining. Mgr said what is wrong? He said it is leaking. He looks at me and says I guess you don't want that one. I said nope.

The whole time neither one of them realized the box had been laying on its side up on the top shelve for who knows how long. I mean oil was dripping down onto the compressor display below.

Yea no problem. Hurry up and ship it to me already.

Saw the toolbox yesterday and went back today to grab the last Dewalt miter saw. If it was still there, I was gonna grab it but looks like someone bought it. It was on the floor in the RT so I'm not really surprised. Did get the miter saw and used a Lowe's 10% coupon.

I found this out as well. First one I bought (C301H) was still in the box when I got it. Transported it on its side about 25 miles home and of course when I got it out, oil had leaked out all over the box and unit. Not a huge amount but enough.

The second one I got (C302H) was on the floor with no box. Made sure I tightened the oil plug before transporting it on its side and it was fine. No leaks.

hey bud, pictures of the shelf stickers dont really tell anyone much of anything bc the stickers on most items worth hunting are wrong...
the pics you posted would be helpful with a description confirming whether or not the tags are correct. ie. ppl post penny deals all the time with yellow stickers that have .02/.03/.06/.00 prices...
as it stands the pics you posted are only helpful to the ppl who need or are following those products. based on the limited amount of chatter about those specifc products on here so far, the pics alone arent exceptonally useful without a description

Yes all the prices were as is posted.
As far as descriptions, you can read the brand what it is and item number on almost every picture I posted.

The attached picture had the item, sku and price pictured. Not sure what else would be required. :dunno: Unfortunately too small to be of use as I said in the follow up post. I'll strive to do better in future posts.

For those of you who purchased the electric homelite leaf blowers, how much were you able to resell them for? I have a **** ton around me.

Does anyone know what the last clearance price on the Ridgid 6800 watt generator was?
The system is showing $399 and 0 in stock. I found it repaired one in the garden center

Anybody have any problems shipping an Ego trimmer? The one I sent says it's being held at the nearby FedEx ship center "available for pickup". Not sure what's going on, and I guess I won't know til tomorrow. Confirmed that the dimensions are fine for FedEx Ground shipping. I didn't put a lithium ion battery sign on it..but is that required for ground shipping?

I'm guessing either it just didn't make the truck, or worst case they ruined it?

I think this just went to .03 at my store, I "think" it's $28.03 now. They pulled it from the normal spot and put it on the clearance section. I was in a bit of a rush and glanced at them quickly when I walked by.

Would there be another price drop? How soon until possible penny status?

I listed all of mine for $25 and accepted $20. My goal was to get rid of them all ASAP and sold 5 in two days.

Ok perfect! I know I can't flip them for much. I was thinking $20-$25 max. All the stores around me have quite a few showing in stock. This IF I can find them.

All the ones I found were in plain sight so hopefully yours are.

SKUs of common power tools at half off, as a heads up to START tracking them locally? Completely useful.

R u requiring signature? If so, I call FedEx and tell them to hold it for me and get it on lunch break the next day. Otherwise it just gets delivered and no one home to sign for it.

You can click the pic, zoom in and note the SKU.

That's the point... A SKU to keep track of as the price drops.

Guys,
I know his rant was towards me but I did think of a bigger picture. The search feature on this forum blows. If we don't include a description on the pictures you will never be able to search for it. I know that is not what he was implying but a description and sku would help.

It's supposed to be going to MO. It's being held at the location near me (Maine).

Around here, I swear they cut open the air hose 3-packs so they can sell the individuals at full price. One HD was supposed to have 6 3-packs. I found 1, right beside about 15 singles.

Ha I noticed the same here. couldn't find any of the 3 packs at one store that supposedly had a bunch but had plenty of singles. Found a 3 pack at the next store. Only wanted 1 3-pack

I was able to find 5 3-packs at one store...I just included them with the compressors I sold and kept one for myself.

I purchased the 20 Gallon husky compressor with tools for around $40.03. Now the store has them marked at $129. Don't they normally go down in price?
