Was trying to say in a PG way, something that only a diverted mind, (mind you with a few choice adult beverages would understand)
Also you would have had to handle a few of those chainsaw cases.

You see, If you have two of those cases, there is a slot on the other side of where the bar comes out. That slot you can slide the bar of another saw into...essentially mating them together. Seems to protect the bar, and making storage easier of multiple saws.......I can send a pic if one wants....

hahaha :D

may i ask what stores you found the 52" husky boxes at? just ought a house in the north metro atlanta area and need a real tool box

Long gone, I bought the last two that were in the system for the metro area. The Dewalt's were even harder to find. Found 3 stores with the Dewalts but someone from FL had bought all 3 and were driving up to get them the next day. Very surprised they did not disappear when the person called looking for them.

I found the dewalt 52" tool chest and tried to have it paid for and left in will call but the guys kept telling me clearance cant go in will call and they wont hold it even after I bought it. Told them they could just leave it up in the rafters so I could come get it when I could find some people to help me move it. Told me no and we're pretty firm on no hold. So $20 for a home depot truck, and a nice neighbor it's in my garage. Thought about selling it then looked at all my tools everywhere and the fact I bought it with $200 in profits from selling a 5700 watt generator I decided to keep it. It is really nice. The drawers are buttery smooth and already lined with dense traction foam. For people looking for one look for a box with 3 casters on each side and dual side by side bottom drawers. The new model only has 2 casters on each side and single large drawes on the bottom. Once I knew what to look for it was really easy to spot.

Also this thing is heavy! The top is 160lbs and the bottom is 280!

What model did you buy? the one that was $125 and now a penny only has one set of drawers on the bottom left and bottom right is a lockable door/cabinet.

So... update on the Ego trimmer I tried to send FedEx. It got returned to me because of "missing documentation". Called FedEx support to figure out what I need, they said I would not be able to ship it myself because i'm not an "authorized hazmat shipper", and would need to bring it to an authorized packer to get it shipped. Something about Class 9.

Bottom line, don't bother trying to sell these on eBay. I guess i'll be refunding this guy.

How did they know?

And reasons like that are exactly why I didn't bother buying those. Wrap the box in brown shipping paper and try again.

unfortunately they have 56volt lithium ion in big bold letters all over the box.
Everyone is freaking out because of the hover boards.

maybe take cardboard from other boxes and wrap around and tape so it is just brown

actually i'm finding out some new info now. the SDS sheet for the 56V 2.0Ah battery does not classify it as Category 9 hazardous. It says it's Unregulated by DOT. The 4.0Ah battery is classified as Category 9. The 2.0Ah is only 112 watt hours.

Calling fedex back. I already refunded the seller anyway, but i'll see if I can get out of fedex charging me for returning it.

Edit: now the guy I just talked to said it's fine to send it as long as the box itself doesn't have a "category 9" marking on it. i'll have to check when I get home.

He said "do not put any lithium ion warning labels on it" (which I didn't). He also said "do not bring it to a fedex ship center. you have to schedule a pickup a day in advance from fedex ground".

"As long as it's 4 cells or less and 2 batteries or less and packed with the original equipment"

Sounds to me like I was right about sending it, with the exception of dropping it off at a ship center rather than scheduling a pickup. I'll have to check the box for that Category 9 thing though.

oh well.. up on OfferUp and Craigslist it goes.

Ohhh. I didn't know you left it unwrapped. I sent a ton of those Rustoleum kits, I'm sure that's hazmat lol. But I had them in a box. I was confused how they knew it was hazmat, or thought* it was hazmat

Those hedge trimmers are a dud. I didn't even bother getting any until I saw two at the one store I don't get to often, figured I'd give them a shot. I should have known that no one wants a non gas trimmer, including myself.

I've already sold one at $100 and have another guy coming tomorrow for the other one. Took longer to sell them but it seems like they do better in areas with smaller yards and HOA's.

I'm keeping the display model that I got and selling my gas Ryobi.
I figure with the combined total of 20 minutes per year of use, it would be easier than having to deal with fuel stabilizer.

Agreed, like most people down here in South Florida I live in an HOA which cuts our front yard but not the rear. The rear yard is very small and all I need is a trimmer, which I already have a nice Toro gas head I bought recently. If I didn't already have that I would have kept the EGO for myself as it would be perfect.

I'm still sitting on 12 Temp2o shower heads.. can't even give these damn things away. Got 'em listed at $35 free shipping which is less than half of retail.

Alright, who's the jerk from Belleville Illinois who has it listed at $29??

Did you know that if you goto the CVS that is in no doubt within the block of that HD. Purchase (via CVS discounts) the giant bottle of KY.... that you can go into that HD and if you look at those beautiful cases.....they have an extra hole in them.......

Just sayin' 'nomsayin?!?!?!?!?

WTF!? LOL!

She has a record of larceny and freely admits to stealing... Video doesn't show her pushing LP out of way as she leaves the store.. Media sides with her. Starting to realize why some areas might be getting so many deals versus others. I'm thinking I need to research HD in liberal areas vs. Conservative areas lol. Wtf have we come to, to have media siding with her for doing something illegal.... I better stop before I say something that offends others.

I used mine last weekend in a pinch. Have to say I was pretty impressed.

Did my whole lawn (which was a bit overgrown BTW) in pretty much the same time it takes to trim with my gas powered Stihl

And the battery gauge was still reading green after I was done.

Whats the SKU# on those if you can. Or bar code pic if you get a chance. Thanks

I picked up 4 but will probably only end up using 2 or 3... They also had 2 of the ones with with the handle for $35

anyone know of the top of their head if you can put a yellow Grass Gator blade setup on these? Can't see why it would be any different.

Would probably fit but that might be when you'll start noticing a lack of power vs a gas powered trimmer or at least a reduced runtime from the battery.

I bought the chainsaw on clearance back in the late summer. Bought 2, actually, intending on flipping at least one of them but got no real good bites. Sold it to a family member for cost and kept 1 for myself.

Picked up the string trimmer at the 55.03 price level. Saw the one day sale for the blower at 99.00 but didnt pick it up, kinda sorta regretting it although I dont need a blower....I imagine it will hit the 99.00 price again over the summer.

Nothing else they make interests me....yard is too big for a push mower, no hedges to trim, etc.

I went to those new registers, I wanted to pay but no one was there to take my money, so I walked out.
