Hit up 8 stores looking for the penny nutones, but the only ones I could find were up in the overhead. Didn't try for any of them since I have such weak overhead game, but the day was not a total bust.

Found a shopping cart full of the pennied out Meridian Lights parked right past the entrance at one store. Made 3 trips and ended up with 15 of them before deciding to move on.

Found three of these at the last store of the day:

Got 4 of them yesterday at a store where I called to check the price and he said $189. Picked up at $135 with the free battery. Cheer!!!

Found a store that claimed to have 3 of these in stock. I looked and low (or so I thought), and couldn't find even 1. Asked an employee for help, and was told nobody was working in hardware tonight, but she'd get somebody. That somebody made a superficial effort but ultimately found nothing. Then I realized nobody was working in hardware, and that I could easily rummage without interference. Found two of them, carefully hidden on a "sales floor" shelf behind 4 corded Sawzalls, in boxes that are nearly identical in size. The only tip off was the black/red case of the Fuel kits behind the red-only Sawzall cases.

I'm still new to this game. Decided to hit the local HD on the way home from work in search of the Milwaukee M12 Fuel deal.

Looked in the tool section and found nothing. The store had the Milwaukee promotional display, but nothing there either. Looked up the SKU on the computer and found the $135 price, but said 0 in stock.

Asked the very friendly young guy how accurate the inventory numbers were in the computer. He said, and I quote, "Due to the 21st century computeristics, the numbers are very accurate."

Was about to give up and walk out when I noticed a small display of random tools and brands near the exit. Sure enough the M12 kit was sitting right there with a $135 tag on it. Picked it up, went and found a battery back in the tool section and brought it home.

Now if I could just find that Ridgid vacuum they supposedly have 1 of.

I've got 2 of those pegboards collecting dust. HD was out of them for awhile and about a week after I found 3 penny sets, they are once again available for $50 on HD.com. Bummer

Were you trying to get rid of them and got no interest?

Looking good! I need to install ours. It's replacing a larger louder Nutone so gonna have to patch some ceiling I'm sure. I wired up a plug to test it and dang it's quiet.

Found two more today too. Still got a qtn110e to get rid of also.

Exact same thing happened with the LED Nutones and Schlage keypad deadbolts. Buying stuff way too soon. :headscrat

The almighty price adjustment is killing deals now:dunno:. Why wait til last clearance price when you can pounce while stock is high and adjust later..***** but just makes you change up your game as they say..:pimpflash

And yup,SPN1025 hit it dead on the head!!!!!!!!!!

Can't remember. Was there a 36" Dewalt tool box that was clearances out? Couldn't read skus to see if this was a new one but if there never were any then it doesn't matter.

This. Times a million. Don't think we were all watching it already? Pretty sure the people here are competent enough to know that's on clearance. Now all the slick dealers and lurkers have the jump on it as well. So yes, drj715, when it drops to .02 and I can't find a single on within a six hour drive of me I will PM you a nasty message.

You have to be careful with the return rebuys, once they're on to you... thats not a happy place to be.

That's what I'm thinking. Penny train coming to an end and now we can look forward to them shutting the return/rebuy & price adjustment game down next.

I want to say the cheapest clearance I've seen that 33 gallon was $359. It wasn't much off.
The 30 gallon clearanced was the 723883

I picked up a 33 gal on monday for $239. They had one on the floor tagged friday when I went in. By monday it was gone.... had a helpful employee check the computer which still showed one in stock. He walked the store with me and found it still in the box, up in the rafters and got it down

lol! I saw this today. Looks like HD is bootlegging Windows Licenses.
Not necessarily. Volume License would have them running a licensing server on their intranet, so the PC has to verify under an admin account (instead of the limit user that it's currently under), and firewall issues. If you look at all those PCs, they have Win 7 Pro COA, but the PCs are imaged using a volume licensed image.

Yeah it just shows how immature the IT systems at HD are. Let's not forget the large quantities of credit card data that was exfiltrated over time. They simply need a KMS or a MAK key for those volume licenses.

Meh, not really. Any volume licensed PC can experience this. Windows in general stinks, memory leaks revolving around Win Genuine Advantage, or Windows Update, or Windows can cause this. Changes in the ISP or network routes. Routing and VPN hardware and software issues. A PC false positive WGA notice is just a typical blip of IT reality.

Saw a LP one that was on clearance for awhile......250.00 I think normally 700-900

Shouldn't be hard to find, had a BIG yellow tag below it...
Thanks. Mine is natural gas. I'll head to HD today and report back.

Anyone else watching the EGO 20" lawn mowers. Last I saw was 374.00 or 354.00.
I haven't been doing this long enough to know how far items like mowers will drop. Since I scored a 12" trimmer yesterday I'm definitely looking to pick one of these mowers up but can't justify it really over $200-250 having a perfectly good Toro at home

Does this mean they will be full price at my store? Or is there a chance I can pick up a few of these for the $140??

Gonna help you before u get flame throwed as they say..You need to check PCA, or take it to register and do a PC there. Only way you will know what they cost! Or if you're lucky and they're tagged the price you want to pay in the store. In which case they won't be there anyway!! Either way, you're going to have to go to store and see if you want it!!!!!HD.com means absolutely nothing to us!!!!!!

That's what I thought. I couldn't find an PCA in my store yet and will look harder today. Only deals I've scored on so far were a Rubbermaid Fasttrack $10 hood for $3 and a Touchless deadbolt for $33.03.
