Is the M12 kit supposed to be 135 everywhere? Still 269 at my store, checked the PCA. Will this eventually go to 135?

It will only be in certain areas, and then even stores in the same district might have different prices. I've seen 135 and 189 in the same district. Then regular priced at 229 and regular price 269. Kinda all over the place with no rhyme or reason. Some products are just like that. Especially the .00 clearance.

I called one store and they said it was $189, I showed up with the confident that they just haven't update the price tag and I was right, it's sitting at $135 when I scan it.
Then of course, the store near my house still have like 5 in Stock at full price, 10 mins away from this one store.

Make sure you get your free M12 4ah battery with it. I found the last one at my local store today. Someone put it on the top clearance shelf, laid it down and pushed it to the back. When looking at a lower shelf the red box caught my eye, so I climbed up there and grabbed it. There were also some Cresent pliers and adjustable wrenched at .03.

1 out of 20 stores near me had it at $135 and only had 1 everywhere else full price.

Got my first penny today, bar and chain set. The SC attendant was having fun playing with the dog in the cart of the woman using another SC. :D

PCA show a few other things but no luck finding them.

Does this mean they will be full price at my store? Or is there a chance I can pick up a few of these for the $140??

Denied battery on an M12 combo kit today. Store only had M18 battery for free on display. M12 kits full price. Checked 2 stores at lunch and no luck. Going to try a 3rd after work. Told the customer service manager that they have it advertised online at Milwaulkee website and HD.com. Her reply was online is a totally separate entity and they do not honor any prices or promotions you see on the website. First I had heard of that bs.

Got the Channellock 148-10s for $6.83, still had loads of them.

They had a bunch of Dewalt and Channellock stuff on clearance. Hard to tell what was on sale as everything was a mess. They price-matched a Cresent 8" adjustable wrench for me since they were on the Dewalt peg for $3.83.

The Milwaukee promotional display I saw last night said the M12 kit was "Select Stores Only"

Not sure how they decide.

Would just posting pictures be a viable option. Makes the search function null and void but would also cut down on traffic from google search

One more employee tells me that it was stolen I'm gonna loose it. I don't even really penny hunt anymore just look for .03 level stuff or cheap. Inventory said they should have the dewalt 3 piece kit and two tool sets over $1k MSRP and nope by all 3 employees standing there. They were all definitely stolen and even if they weren't we would have bought them before you. Irritates me to know end how they can be so complacent with that much product. I walked every isle looking for them and couldn't find anything. It ended with me back at one of the computers and this sweetheart of a women who doesn't give me any **** asking me if the store had electric fireplaces as she couldn't find any. She had a customer there that wanted one. I found a few in inventory and they went looking for them and couldn't find them. They came back to me asking where they were and I showed them. Which is slightly depressing that I know the inventory better than the employees.

People walk off with stuff all the time- spider wraps and all. If something was stolen it's not impossible to imagine. Literally walked in after someone walked out with 2 Milwaukee kits needless to say they didn't let anyone on or near computers shortly after that near the pro desk where dude walked out. Kid you not walked in grabbed 2 off the end cap buy pro and walked out the door hopped in buddies pickup and drove off- one desk employee I guess even tried yelling to them and tripping them as he walked by. Pretty ridiculous- similar thing happened the week prior 20 min after I left according to a MET guy I know at the store

So why doesn't MET, management or anyone go review a camera and say they took items x,y,z do a count and adjust inventory. This lets corporate know it was stolen by someone other than an employee so no internal fraud and inventory stays accurate. This means some of the stores I'm in could have huge sums of money on the books not taken into account in shrink yet. From a financial/manager standpoint it makes zero sense. Also inventory was done what, two months ago?

If I knew that I'd know everything. From my understanding there's 2 separate camera systems one that is remote access and one that's closed circuit to he store. Don't know which are which expect the ones labeled at my particular stores. Inventory is as simple as a couple employees that go around with there price gun and select the quantity left of certain items as each met team member is made responsible for certain number of skus and inventory check by assigned items. Same situation as PCA saying 0 of an item but guy goes and finds 3 of it in a completely different section of the store. Inventories atleast near me seem to be department specific. If this employee can't find those items they simply 0 it out. If they find it or a customer finds it and they ask "hey where'd you find those I thought they were gone" they can change the inventory by sku on the fly

Not a clearance item but I have notice the yellow DeWalt tool boxes showing up at a few stores with the top chest marked down to $199. My local store showed two in stock but said it was a miscount and they didn't have any. Found one at another store and bought it.

Marquette's hit a penny. 8" to but I got impatient and was the only one in sco. Denied. I'll get em back later though. They had the M12 kits on the floor at $229. PCA was $135. Not to mention I didn't get my $0.99 change. Damn penny just went right through. Picked a bad one I guess.

Found a Husky 301h and was able to get it for last clearance. No need for it, but if anybody in NJ would be interested in trading for one of the big husky or dewalt boxes, I'd be very interested.

Also, the m12 kits are still showing 269 all over south jersey. Keping an eye out as I have some m12 tools already.

Mine for $49 after some debate with the store manager. It's definitely a well-used reconditioned unit but still a good deal.
