thx for ego promo pic..

lincoln welder carts are at 25.03... first i have seen them that low.
ce tech 12v mini inverter was at .03, my advice is to wait for a penny
b&d battery bank went from .02 back to full price at a store. bummer.
a bunch of diff dewalt and bostitch nailers are all at like $55-88 pricing down from $200-300 range (rough estimates). im not too well versed in nailers and imo they all look sort of specialized... i held off bc they didnt interest me and quick flip looked unreasonable. i missed the current $100 paslode, but a guy i sold a paslode framing nailer to said he uses nail guns all day and had to go back to a cordless paslode framing nailer from a dewalt bc he didnt have time to pound in nails all day... my 2 cents: specialty use nailers geared towards pros, but without the name brand pros trust might end up in some slow sellers. but ive been wrong before.

So you're wanting to buy 4 compressors at .06 pricing (they haven't even hit .06 yet anyways) and then you "can't get around to picking them up" until they hit .03 pricing. And not even leave the house to put them on will call. Are you kidding me?

He's trying to will call 4 compressors to flip, not one for personal use, so he's actually got the same side job.

no, thats absolutely not what i'm saying. the price is already 50% off, but it's labeled at 195.00, which i'm assuming is the .06 price.

what i asked is how will call works, as i see it talked about all the time, and i'm assuming they are going on level .03 sometime this week, and if i don't happen to be able to get to the store the day they drop, someone may beat me to it. it was a simple question, if you want to act like a jackass go ahead, i was just asking a question.

as for having a "side job" i've only once ever found a good deal at .03 clearance and that was a maglite flashlight. and you're going to get on me for wanting to try to flip something when everyone else here does? ideally i'd keep 1 compressor, sell the other 3, and put that money towards a 60 gallon, if you absolutely must know. i've never found a great deal, and the last few things i watched all went to .03 level on a day i couldn't make it to the store. so no, nothing about a side job, simply asking a damn question. i've never found other deals like these guys here do.

have a good day

.06 pricing will end in .06. Those compressors still have at least 2 more drops before hitting .03.

they went down to 299, then like 279, 219, now 195. they say .03 price is approx. 75 percent off, well they are at 50 percent off right now

Bought an 2 ton aluminum racing jack for $45.03. It will replace my HF one that I broke a caster on (let it dig into soft asphalt and then let the car down too fast).

Found a penny Kwikset deadbolt: 0000-979-554. I screwed up at the register and scanned the yellow clearance tag. Luckily, the kid at the SCO came over and scanned the one on the box. When it rang up for a $0.01 I said, "Sweet, I'll take it". He called for adult supervision, but luckily she said I could have it. He was very confused.

The PCA showed a Husky floor creeper for $10.03, but I don't remember seeing that stocked at any store.

I think what he was getting at is what myself and spn where talking about several pages earlier. I talked to my manager/friend I used to work with and he told me the 00 pricing is fairly new (within last year or 2). If your store manager is wanting to keep his store sales up as well as is allowed to (product not discontinued, recalled, etc..), they can go from 00 to any sort of pricing they see fit (even back to full retail). A lot of stores are going to start using this method instead of 06, 03 method because they can adjust pricing as they see fit.

Once it's in computer it has a certain markdown period before it drops. This will be the same for all stores, but they can adjust the price as they see fit. Like I said in previous post, he said a lot of managers will be lazy as **** and just let the generic price and time fall by computer while others like himself will adjust to get max sale. Also told me some very interesting information about why some stores carry certain things that a store 3 miles away doesn't. That is for another day because the baby just woke up.

Anyone know if their stores still have the Black+Decker boosters in their store still on clearance? Had one from another reputable brand that was about $100 that I am on my 2nd replacement. Still won't hold a charge.
I think the sku was 1001410128

I keep one around for my wife's other vehicle that she doesn't drive regularly since it is light weight and easy for her to operate. If you grabbed one and didn't flip it or have a lead on one @ .02 pricing please let me know. Thanks!

Argue that it says any EGO lawn tool. It pictures examples but only their most premium tools would fit on the ad.

Technically it says it both way

The fine print says "Purchase any EGO handheld kit..." with no mention of any other limitations beyond a kit being comprised of a tool, battery, and charger (i.e., no bare tools).

Going to try getting the batteries today based on the fine print language. I will share the outcome.

Looked for one of those yesterday at a store showing one in stock, could not find it. Some other local stores are still full price.

this product had a very odd clearance cycle. i followed them closely and tried to find someone else here who was tracking them as well to no avail... here is what i know: they arent 'still' at full price... it went down to .02 nearly everywhere and instead of going to a penny after that it instead jumped back to full price. the time it spent at .02 varied store to store. some a very short period, some for over a month, some so short that it was barely even there (basically going from .04 then a few days later back to full price).

in terms of the product itself, i dont think its a good deal even at $20.02. you want a regular jump pack with an agm battery in it if you need to jump a car battery without another car, not one of these little li-ion things. it gives basically nothing in the way of specs for the unit... no cca's or anything. i dont think the pack is going to be very useful outside of being a standard ~10,000mah powerbank that has some extra clips and plugs attached to it, in which case $20 is not a great deal at all, (a penny would be slick though). its not going to jump a dead battery in a jam like an agm jump pack would. its more for trickle charging out of a jam, which is going to take a lot of time depending on how low your car battery is. and it may not work at all given the small size of this battery pack...

^ Understood and agreed. I guess I didn't really look into the BD one until after I made the post. It is not what I thought it was at all.

I am completely turned off by the Li-ion ones. I have ready that a lot of them explode or swell and leak. And you can't trust the Amazon reviews since they most likely gave out 500 of the damn things in exchange for a false 5 star review. The 120 people who actually paid for the thing all hate it and report exactly what I fear for.

I think the tried and true AGM is the way to go, just need to find the right one at the right price. Thanks for the input guys.

Have you used it? I did just last month while at Walt Disney. I got it for 20.03 and thought what the heck. I had a competently dead battery, my son left the dome light on and after 2 1/2 days it drained the battery that even the doors would not unlock with the remote, and it was hot as hell in the 90's.

I hooked it up to the battery pressed the button and let it charge it up. I jumped the gun 5 minutes in and tried to start the car but no go. Pressed the button and let it do its job. Had the wife go back up the the hotel and borrow my moms car and jumper cables and pulled he car around to jump my car.

Before I pushed my car out of the parking spot I tried to start it just to see if the car would start and :willy_nil It started right up didn't need the jumper cables. :dunno: for 20 bucks it worked out for me. Took like 10-15 to do its job and it's very compact

Damn its getting hard around here to snag any of the ok deals. Dewalt combo compressor kit, the husky jacks and ridgid shop vacs pretty much where all gone as soon as they hit clearance at my 3 nearest stores, others show no stock in the app. Last night, my nearest store had 3 jacks, they where slow to drop them to .04 where they tend to do it on Monday, I went at 7pm still 98.06, first thing this morning they dropped. marked the price on the shelf and all ready gone lol I should have bought one last night and price adjusted it but this store is a pita for clearance price adjustments.

Found a Klein knockout punch set yesterday. Thought I hit the jackpot as it was up on a top shelf and was in the shipping box. I was hoping the box was gonna have all 3 but only had one. I had almost given up looking for those. Of course this aisle opened up to the customer service desk and was the closest bay. Glad there was a yellow ladder in the aisle though. I stopped caring long ago and will drag an orange ladder around as long as the coast is clear.

Snagged some more faucets and discovered a few different models that had hit a penny as well.

nice find. my Klein set just sold for $130. I was a little disappointed that they are made in Mexico.. I thought most of Klein's stuff was supposed to be USA? that makes them no better than the Southwire version made in China.

I have scored a total of 7 Kleins. Two at .03 and five pennies. Sold two so far for $125 each on Offerup. 1 was USA made and the rest Mexico. Putting them side by side, there was definitely a quality difference as the USA set was much nicer as far as finish machining/casting quality. While there is definitely a step down from USA to Mexico quality, my experience has shown generally another step down when China gets involved.

I was hoping to get around $140. Had one guy try to tell me it was used. No buddy, thats machining oil, rust inhibitor.

The greenlee's that were in one of my kleins that someone swapped out are much nicer than the Mexico Kleins. The Kleins you can see the tool marks from where they milled it.

Interesting.. if I had found a USA one, I probably would have kept it..

Got the 723883 compressor for last clearance of 110. Employee got it down and immediately scanned it. Scanned penny so he called the tool department manager who straight up said can't sell it. Employee was cool and said he'd ask the manager on duty who said he'd let me have it for last clearance price. I didn't really expect to get it for a penny but it woulda been nice.
