Have you used it? I did just last month while at Walt Disney. I got it for 20.03 and thought what the heck. I had a competently dead battery, my son left the dome light on and after 2 1/2 days it drained the battery that even the doors would not unlock with the remote, and it was hot as hell in the 90's.

I hooked it up to the battery pressed the button and let it charge it up. I jumped the gun 5 minutes in and tried to start the car but no go. Pressed the button and let it do its job. Had the wife go back up the the hotel and borrow my moms car and jumper cables and pulled he car around to jump my car.

Before I pushed my car out of the parking spot I tried to start it just to see if the car would start and :willy_nil It started right up didn't need the jumper cables. :dunno: for 20 bucks it worked out for me. Took like 10-15 to do its job and it's very compact

negative, i dont even own it, so i have not used it. for a penny i would be all over it, for sure. i was very excited to get them bc i had a store with 10 or so that were out of sight out of mind, but they jumped back up to full price after a month or so at .02.

theres no way for sure to know exactly what it can/cant do bc of the lack of specs. theres all sorts of variables that would determine if it could be useful or not. the smaller the vehicle and less electronic equipment the better off you will be with the b&d or a small agm pack. also the battery voltage is critical too. ie in your example: your locks likely wont work if your battery is at 11.9v or even as low as 10.1v... so without the voltage read before/after theres no way to know.

if your battery is no longer capable of holding a charge the b&d isnt going to jump it bc it (likely) cant put down enough cranking amps (or cca's if its cold). the fact it took 15min and wouldnt start after 5min instead of 1st try 10 seconds after you hook them up is indicative that the cranking amps spec is low on the b&d.

fwiw, pep boys was giving away Peak brand 300cca jump packs with inflators attached to them for free, plus like $10 cash back after rebates making them better than free on black friday for a couple yrs in a row. the going rate on those is roughly $20 ish any day of the week and the package is maybe 2x the size of the b&d but includes the inflator, which is very good, and also some clear specs defining what it is that you are getting.

the b&d's original price of $70 or whatever is insanity, $20.02 should be the going rate for it

ps last thing to consider: the b&d was probably out of action after it charged one battery, agm would probably be ready for rounds 2,3,4+ before it even needs to be recharged

I found a dewalt compresser/nailer combo listed on shelf for $115. Chance it scans for lower? Or is it worth it at this price?

Going to try getting the batteries today based on the fine print language. I will share the outcome.

Updated!

C.S. Didn't fight the 12" vs 15" model at all or the language. when she try to re-sell it back it came back as penny lol gave it a try. Penny killed the transaction.

You're correct, it was 68.00. I wasn't even aware there was such a thing as a coil framing nailer.

Found a few more earlier today.]

Coil framers have been around for at least 10 or 15 years. Many pro framers use those mostly now since they hold 200 nails vs a stick nailer holding 50. The downside is the coils are more fragile than the strips so if you drop them they get deformed and screw up in the gun.

Cool. Just wondering if there were difference's in regions. Saw the Rigid coiled roofing nailer for $55 but really don't have a use for one I guess.

Anyone know what the swiiffer 20x25 filters last clearance was? I found a whole box full but only got 1/4 through at SCO. She let me keep those but pulled the others off the floor. I told her I want the rest if we can work out a decent price, the manager is suppose to call me. Not for flipping, for a friend and my sister so at a buck a piece or something, I'm good with that.

Remember what nailer came with it? I saw one for 115 but was busy plotting penny attacks so forgot to snap a pic.

Yep, the brad nailer. The air hose that comes with it is pretty nice too, not a cheap pvc one, it's a nicer soft rubber.

I was doing the same but they sold out at current pricing near me. should be what another two weeks before the next price drop still?

Last adjust was 4.22 in my area so it should be very soon.

The Stanley Fubars were on the shelf under a different tag. Used price check to confirm they'd ring up at 7.53

No troubles with the free battery on the m12 fuel combo.
