Here are the two bostitch. One from lowes one from hd

BTFP12569

MIIIFS

Both are pneumatic. The MIIIFS is double the price. Sorry I know this is not deal to post.

Looking at the specs, a lot of the stuff is similar. I've never seen the 2 in 1 used by pros though, only the Miiifs one. I think the build quality is better on the stapler only, there are a few things just looking at the pics that are better on it than the 2 in 1. So I think it's basically the difference between a pro 21" mower vs. a 21" toro you buy from home depot.

Question, when the hell would you use a stapler instead of a nailer to do hardwood flooring? I would think staples would look like ****.

I was debating whether to sell my Bostitch manual flooring nailer and keep one of these pneumatic flooring staplers, but I guess I don't see when anyone would use staples for hardwood flooring.

The nails or staples are essentially driven through the tongue edge of the wood, almost like toe-nailing a 2x4 or something when framing. You wouldn't see them, and they would hold a lot better.

Found this on a clearance shelf in-store today:

Since it didn't show up during my first PCA visit, I went back to PCA and got "no item found". I immediately dug in my pocket for a penny and went back to pickup the tool (why I left it on the shelf in the first place is a mystery). On the back I found this:

At SCO I initially scanned the original UPC and got "see attendant". Scanning the UPC on the yellow sticker (which is for the bare tool, which is in PCA @ $73) got me another "see attendant". From there on it was smooth sailing for $73.

That's a good score. I have the non-fuel version and love it, so I can only imagine that the fuel one is excellent.

Saw the dewalt dw745 table saw actually jumped up in price to $229?! Milwaukee m12 fuel set went from $279 to no longer in the system. Never hit $135 like all you guys on the east coast.

Picked up a penny husky 48" plastic job box, perfect for all my grilling and smoking items. Old guy that worked there saw me heading to checkout, told me it was a great box. He said he got the other one and gave me a wink! Now I know who got the one at 33.03 or whatever the last clearance priced one was!

I bought that saw last week for 180 and saw it jumped up to 229 this week. Same store that had 5.

Got denied on one of the Husky 48" job boxes the other day. Went straight to CS and asked for a manager. Told her the box would ring up a penny, and I'd like to get it at last clearance. She looked it up, and inventory showed 0, so I showed her the box in the rafters. She got the ladder to check it out, then says she has to get a generic sku, and double check with her manager (who she was supposed to be). She comes back a few minutes later, saying she's looking for someone to bring it down. Comes back again, a few minutes later, and says they can't sell it. They don't own it. It's out of inventory because the manufacturer owns it now, and it has to go back to them. I got a kick out of that one. Wasn't in the mood to fight the bs, especially since this is the same spot that gave me a hard time about pulling $125 tool chests down. I'll check it out again in a couple weeks, if I have some time to kill, to see if it's still there.

Haha, yeah I've been followed out before, never photographed though! Is the security tag still on that Klein set??

Edit: actually I think those are the "fake" alarms. I bought several of the Milwaukee meters with those still on, lol

Looks like the 46" work benches #763089 aren't going to drop. They were $188.06 and they've been repriced to $189

I can definitely see where she's coming from. Home Depot trash compactors keep judicious records and managers definitely don't want to risk ******* them off by selling something they already own.

Lesson learned. Find a way to get it down BEFORE making them aware of it

No need to fear the orange ladder. They probably won't say anything and if they do the outcome would be similar. Might as well improve your odds and put some work in.

I got caught dragging an orange later from one aisle to another. Associate was pretty much ignoring me and some other customers comes up and jumps in front of me while I'm waiting to ask them to get me a nailer down. I was annoyed and was on a time frame. A girl came over and said "you were going to climb up the ladder weren't you?" I replied yes and she kinda laughed and said she would help me.

These items should be dropping to a penny by Tuesday, if they haven't already dropped at you particular store (posted on member's only forum).

Thanks Rob. Great deals there. Good idea on the members only forum post.

Lol. Not gonna happen. They watch me like a hawk in that one. I can't even get non penny items down without issue in there. Still find enough stuff on the floor, and in yellow ladder reach, that this wasn't worth it.

I found that the gorilla step ladders reach to the middle of top and have used them frequently

Did not see this posted here, not sure what member only forum is. Got this for $95 with a free 4.0 battery. So for $95 you get fuel drill, charger, and 3 batteries.

Guys I made a mistake mentioning something that I don't have the authority to mention. I have like 50 private messages now, but I can't answer them w/o permission.
