People do the same thing on this thread unfortunately.

I kinda did at first. Not to be liked (I assume everyone always loves me anyway ) just being helpful not understanding how many lurkers there are. I learned though and I'll keep things vague and pm people more.

There is a lot going on here, it seems. I get penny deals here and there and this thread helps for items I never saw go on clearance in the first place (ex. 791LED ventilation fans). Having said that, I'd rather this thread or another like it not exist in the first place than to lose out on Home Depot's current and long-standing clearance schedule.

What about a private facebook group or something along that line? It would be set to private so only those invited get in.

you would need to create a secret group, not a private one. a private group can be seen by anyone (can see members names and the group, but not the posts in the group).

a Secret group is only viewable by members and is not searchable. Only people invited can see the group.

You guys should try it already have my secret group......works great

the search function is the only downfall. i find that its not great.

i have a private group that has around 190 members and screening them is difficult. i usually look at photos for a vw race car photo, but even that is difficult if a persons profile is private or not all images are able to be seen by non-friends.

I live in NW Ga and there seems to be a lot of them from what I've seen around here but I only get stuff that I will use personally. I've enjoyed reading this entire thread though it's taken some time since I have a newborn, 1 month old and 1 day to be exact. I appreciate everyone's efforts.

Back to deal. They are starting to drop. Not bad if you need a Paslode 16ga.

What area are you in? They haven't dropped any in E. Tn.

The West Knoxville Home Depot had a bunch of pneumatic tools on sale, like 75% off, earlier today. A $200 Dewalt nailer for $55. A BOstitch hardwood nailer that was about $400 for $100. Don't recall the details, saw them, thought about it, but decideed I didn't need distractions.

Go to pipe clamp aisle, get the appropriate size bar clamp. Reverse bar clamp so it's in the spreading position. go to the middle of that half *** security bar, tip chain saw on it's side, use the spreader clamp to arch the pipe up, take as many saws as you'd like.

:willy_nil
premix gas is on the same aisle, just sayin....

Example. I had to run back, so I picked up a framing nailer (15 degeee coil) for $68, normally $269.

This rug also dropped to a penny today ($97 retail). Easy flip for $70 each in my neighborhood. Very good quality, recommended buy.

SKU: 723990

I bought this for a penny while out of town just for the hell of it. I gave it to someone in the parking lot, lol. What's bought in Vegas stays in Vegas ;)

Re: Home Depot Clearance Thread 2015

So would not posting deals here. So, everyone should stop posting. I assume most of the half experienced deal finders here know how to find deals without them being posted here.

This is my last post here. Between the nastiness toward mods, slick dealers, and private lists, I'm out.

Saw this super faded case sitting out on the shelf:

Opened it up to find what appears to be an unused Paslode 900600 complete with battery, charger, instructions and super sick safety glasses.

Talked with associate manager and ended up getting it for $30.

This is the second one I've found this week. The first one was also out on the floor and had a much less faded case. I opened it up before purchasing to make sure everything was there and noticed it was the older model. I decided to buy it at the $100 price, walk out to my car to "discover" it was the older model and then bring it back to customer service with the hope it would give me a much better position to negotiate price. It didn't, so I just ended up getting a refund.

Has anyone else found these mixed in with the 902400's? I don't know if this needs to be said, but if you have any unopened 902400's, check them out to make sure you didn't get duped by HD.

Looks like you got duped twice then. The one in your photo in the faded case is not what should be in there. It is older. Look at the logo on the nailer vs the box.

Check everything if it looks bad. Lot of people doing crazy stuff with everything.
