Saw 2 of the homelite pressure washers in Port Huron MI over the weekend in the above rafters. Manager would not sell either of them to me, stating a safety defect. I don't live around the area, otherwise I would wait until I got a different manager, but maybe someone will have better luck?

yea, several employees even told me that. when I ask them for the price of something that people on here are saying is on clearance, the employees tell me it's "available online only". I don't get it... :drink:

I get the same thing all the time. Glad to see it's not just me.

in other words, he took them home at the end of his shift. Were they in boxes or display models?

This rug also dropped to a penny today ($97 retail). Easy flip for $70 each in my neighborhood. Very good quality, recommended buy.

I bought the smaller, 2'x3' rug this weekend. Sticker was $4.**, decided to get it because all the other clearance rugs disappeared. On my way to sco a checkout girl popped in front of me and wanted to ring me up, sure why not. Rang up as a penny ******. Gave her the dumb routine "So can I just pay a penny?" Penny success at regular checkout woot!

Also decided to hit up a HD in a crummy part of the city, parking lot was mostly full so I took a spot in the empty furthest row. On my way out, from the distance I see a pair of legs underneath my car. I scan the the parking lot and see day laborers napping in the bushes, so maybe some idiot thought my suv made a good canopy. As I turn the corner on the driver side, 2 day laborers were furiously doing something next to my driver wheel-well. Words were exchanged (thought they were trying to jack my wheels), turns out they were *only* furiously stuffing stolen goods into their backpacks to catch the bus home. They assured me they weren't doing anything to my car, came back to make sure I was good, thought I was alerting the cops since I was tapping on my phone (google maps).

Milwaukee 3 Pack Tape Measures...25 ft 16 ft 6.5 ft...I think it is a pretty good deal. They aren't magnetic however.

Over a week ago, I saw a cart full of clearance items, and thought I'd hit the mother load. Stanley, Milwaukee, Crescent, and Channellock hand tools were loaded into a cart in the middle of the tool section. I figured they must have pennied out, and they'd pulled them, like they're supposed to do. When I checked the PCA, not only were they still all $**.03, but they were all zeroed out in inventory. There were about 25-30 pieces in that cart, still sellable, all zeroed out and pulled off the floor. Rediculous.

what you describe is pretty unique to handtools and also large brand shifts. a couple years ago when they got rid of irwin hand tools they did the same thing... my guess is bc someone in a shirt and tie figured they could get more out of them than .03 clearance so they disposed of them some other way.

the met chick handed me all of the handtools she was pulling, checked prices, let me have all i wanted then promptly marched the cart full of hand tools to the back. if that **** said husky on it it would penny out, but since it had a brand name that can be sold elsewhere...

new in box, boxes didn't even look dusty. Really sucked because I have been scouring everywhere for a good deal on a pressure washer. Thought after checking the 100th home depot I finally found some luck, and then smashed.

There are no carwashes in a 45 mile radius of me where I can pull a truck and trailer through. I just want to wash my damn jeep!

honestly, I would just go back and ask for the store manager (not a department manager). if he refuses to sell it, call corporate and explain the situation. they're still $100 right? it's not like you're complaining about a penny item. they are on clearance status and NOT on recall. i'm pretty sure corporate is gonna say they have to sell it to you.

if it were a penny item in the rafters, corporate would tell you to pound dirt.

hell, just go up to customer service desk, tell them you want to pay for them but they're still in the rafters.

Rarely would I say call corporate, but SPN is dead right! Not a penny sale, just "over stock' or whatever you wanna call it. This one should be pretty easy.A Dept manager guy i'm cool with did tell me that policy is actually NOT to sell penny items for last clearance. OF course what each store does is up to them, but he gives away the item if you find it down on the floor. Up in the rafters, you get nothing.

This. Found three penny items in rafters this morning. Lady scanned the last one after she brought it down and of course red flag, calls manager and he offers to sell one but not the other two. Never mentioned anything about penny and offered to pay the last clearance price for all 3. He said nope. Called corp. they sided with him because the items were in the rafters. Apparently I was "lucky" he was giving me the one for last clearance price.

Same here on Monday. Went in to buy a stove and saw a box of penny items asking to get bought. Only sold me 1 and at last clearance.

Looks like you got duped twice then. The one in your photo in the faded case is not what should be in there. It is older. Look at the logo on the nailer vs the box.

Are you talking about it being the wrong jacket? If so, I left that on there to illustrate how I found it on the shelf. Other than that, the case itself appears to be the one that goes with the older 900600 model.

The cases for the newer and the older model look exactly the same on the outside:

The only difference between them is their labels. Here is a picture showing the differences between the newer 902400 label and the older 900600 label:

The "Paslode Cordless" label on the case also looks to be the same as the sticker on the case.

Finally, the battery slot on the 900600 case is longer than the slot on the 902400 case to accommodate the longer battery on the 900600.

What model are you saying is supposed to be in there? Not saying that I'm right and your wrong, I just want to get this straight before I get accused of trying to dupe someone when trying to sell it.

The actual nailer you have in that case it an older one. The gas cartridge door is orange, it is black on the new one and the new one has a different logo on the side of the nailer

any suggestions on how to get this?

My local store has the paslode framing nailer that pennied out, but it is on the shelf with no sleeve and no barcode (must be a return?). Someone wrote the sku on the case but they wrote the wrong damn sku and when i took it to SCO, the attendant punched it in and rang it up for $399.

I'm know, that's why I paid $30 for it and not the $100 that the newer models (Model# 902400) are going for. I paid $100 for the other one after seeing it was the older model so that when I brought it up to the customer service desk to try and negotiate the price, they couldn't just say it wasn't for sale and take it away.

I posted about it because they have the same case and I found both of these mixed in with the newer models.

Just take it to the customer service desk and ask for the store manager or assistant manager.
After the show up, make sure their not the MOD and ask if you can pay last clearance price or make an offer. Show them this as proof as last clearance price.

I don't really know anyways to get it for a penny since there's no jacket/UPC on the case.

Well, my mistake. I was kinda in a rush (between weddings). But hopefully someone here can take advantage of it. Its in the rafters right behind the pressure washers.
