You should have snatched them both up and strolled to the cashier. That ticks me off, when they act like that.

Went to my home Depot {45 min away} while going to the mall. Saw compressor dropped to $75 and when trying to find them hardware guy came up and struck up convo asking what I was looking for. I had looked everywhere at this point so I just said 30 gallonish compressor. He flat out said if you're looking for the 2 on clearance that dropped to 75 this am, 2 of us in hardware bought them first thing this am. I played stupid and he told me to check Craigslist (was selling gather for 250) and said the likelihood of any good deals getting out of this store is slim to none. I just acted like I had no clue what he was talking about and chatted a tad more before leaving. I went to restroom in back and sure enough the 2 compressors sitting right next to restroom in employee stock room. No wonder I never find things in my store when I go hehe. The tone was funny too, he was basically saying get the F out of my store hehe. Ohh well live and learn.

Couldn't get sco to scan an old 16" bar/chain, kept saying "item not found" and "please see attendant". Attendant came over, scanned and left, I dropped a penny in the slot and got my receipt, sweet.

So cashier's scanners are more sophisticated than sco? I tried 2 sco kiosks and got the same message.

Are you scanning the actual UPC on it??

Guess not, haha. This was the only visible barcode on the package, and that's the one that was scanned by sco and attendant. It's covering the actual barcode inside the blister package, the cashier's scanner was able to read it while sco was not.

Had this happen with my g/f on a chain. She quick hit back button, walked around the corner and peeled it the best she could....then went back. Rang a penny.

I saw a few of those in the past few weeks, some had things covering the sku that peeled off easily, one had a similar sticky sticker like the one in the post above. I grabbed a putty knife from a display and scrapped it off.

I see plenty of those Husky 33 gallon air compressor in craigslist ranging from $115-$300. Looks like people are having a hard time selling them. I guess that is the trickle effect of Slickdeals.

How so? I figured its a utility sink and would be great for washing dirty hands off.

The sink/cabinet is fine but the tall-*** faucet looks weird. Maybe it's just the photo on the box that looks funny. Seems really high!

When things get posted here on GJ, then in turn, on slick deals*

Yep. Gets posted here and then finds it's way to SD for all the idiots to call EVERY store in the area looking for said item to put in will call.

Nothing like shooting yourself in the foot..............repeatedly.

I would have gone over and watched them smirking. Then when they asked my opinion, I'd say they had horse manure for brains.

I think they paid more for the compressors than the car.

Effin' idiot...
Wouldn't be so bad if he was only going to get himself killed, but he's going to share the roads with others.

Whenever I'm driving, especially on the highway, I stay well back of anything strapped on a car or any car pulling a trailer. I NEVER trust how people strap things down, most have no clue how things need to be strapped down.

I'm not a snob but I don't put a high value on Husky compressors. I'd never ever buy one at what they ask in HD even if I didn't know about how things clearance. I don't think they are worth what HD asks for them. The oil lube ones that clearanced a few months back were a better deal than these.

I should have taken a picture of them trying to get them on top the car, it was quite the feat of engineering with these two rocket scientists at work lol. I wouldnt be surprised if when they slammed on the brakes those slid right off onto the hood.

That's a hard sell at $300, considering HD has them on their web site at $199.50 (through June 6).

its been wrecked. the rusty wheel well is probably from a busted splashguard, or no splashguard at all.
