Why don't the imbeciles rent a damn HD truck for $20 instead of spending time securing it to the roof of that POS and praying they make it home with them still in place?

I think I see a "real" roof rack under there. Still asking for trouble, but it's not like they're trying to balance a pallet on their roof

For all those in the Dallas area: the Rowlett store #8951 off Lakeview had lawn bags (407266) at a penny. However, they put a sign up that said they were free. No limits and they said to just grab as many as you want and they don't even scan them. I took my fair share and will let everyone else reap the kindness of the management. I went right before closing and it looked as though they had 100 or so left. I haven't seen this at any other DFW store, so take advantage if you are close. Have fun!

If they bought the HDX straps with the compressor, they wouldn't be able to afford the bondo.

Last summer I was coming back from a day trip on a moderately busy highway and there was traffic on the southbound side. On that highway there is never stopped traffic and especially at 3pm on a Saturday.

Watched the news that night. A wheelbarrow fell off a 1 ton pickup truck carrying mulch. The first car or two avoided it, the next was a SUV with a higher center of gravity. He swerved and flipped. I think he was 24, seemed like a decent hardworking person. He left a young kid and a fiancee. He died because someone was stupid and lazy not strapping it down.

I'm not a snob but I don't put a high value on Husky compressors. I'd never ever buy one at what they ask in HD even if I didn't know about how things clearance. I don't think they are worth what HD asks for them. The oil lube ones that clearanced a few months back were a better deal than these.
They're the same as the craftsman and other brands. Made by the same mfg for them. Some husky stuff is pretty good. The silent compressor was made by California air and they have a table made by keter that is nice.

Dunno about all the compressors though.

Same as the ones currently in Sears. I think it is Mat industries or something like that. It is on the label.

My older Sears one says campbell hausfield

Mat industries makes the 301 and 302h, along with the current 60 and 80 gallons.... pretty much all the same tanks pumps and motors on the box store brands.

Got the MET team talking about me today. I grab a box of penny items off their mobile cart (no one around, and the box was labeled 1 cent to) checked out and came back in. Saw one MET walking back with the box I abandoned and mentioned to another guy a customer took them off the cart and bought them. I walked right by them so surely he didn't check the video. However he did find the abandoned box pretty quick. All the other penny junk I left on the cart was moved off quick. I'll see if they have my picture on the wall next trip.

This store is a very cat and mouse game, MET is pretty on top of it.

Be on the look out for milwaukee pliers that have pennied.

Saw this item today. I don't know if it's been posted before and didn't have time to check the current price. The tag shows a date of 9/1/15. Does anyone know what the current pice might be? The store refuses to answer the phone.

Is there anything illegal about cutting the UPC off a really big box and using that to scan it at the SCO? TIA

technically no, if it's the correct UPC, BUT....
you could have the cops called on you on suspicion of using fake bar codes or something along that line... granted you'll get off when they see it's the right bar code, but still... that's a line I don't cross.

I did it. They just were like you can't use that. And scanned the other bar code. And it still came up a penny. Lmfao

They were on their game though. No penny deals anymore. Unless your very lucky.

I don't see why there would be. I took the 8x11 label with the UPC code off the 48" utility boxes and swipped it through 3 times. I don't even think you'd have the cops called, if they catch you, they'll be able to pull it up in the system and know it's the right upc, etc.

The one thing it might do and did to me some, is they might come over to look at the screen or see what you are doing more than normal. They did with me and I was catch with the penny boxes. They gave me one but they kept the other 2. They would have given them to me for last clearance but I wasn't interested beyond a penny.

That's the same store that where the SC guy scanned my 2 vac's at $25 and a penny bath fan lol. Never said a word about the fan and my credit card was screwing up so he had to come over and such a few times over at least 5 minutes. They have 3 more fans so I hope he's there next time, lol.

Same price!! Been that way for awhile. Without batteries, very slow flip if that's what you're doing. The rotary I had just like that was and is the only item I have returned so far.No interest at all on it.

The sink/cabinet is fine but the tall-*** faucet looks weird. Maybe it's just the photo on the box that looks funny. Seems really high!

the faucet bends so you can lower it if you want. I picked up the last one at my store last month.
