Actually my store does price adjustment on clearance items. You got 2 weeks after purchased and only if it is not a huge difference in price clearance. Never had a problem, but they won't do penny adjustment.

That is one of my bucket list goals in life...to successfully convince a customer service cashier to perform a return/rebuy on a penny item. Once I accomplish that goal, I will be a retired penny dealer.

Found a 10" dewalt ajustable, price checked penny, just to see what will happen I asked a employee with a scanner for price check, he said "its $14.99, and I said are you sure?, then he said is on clearance for a penny... And took it out of his hands... Those bastards always lie... Hahahahaha. Anything else you need help with? Yes please check the price on this 10 items ahhahaha. Gave me the cross eyes look :)

Which stores. Specifically.

And who the **** goes to a nascar race, I hope you got those tickets for free.

Nascar gives out free tickets to aluminum benches, it's a vibrant sport. When you see the 10's of thousands of empty seats, that should scare the heck out of them, since it's happening in places like NC, SC and other base areas, :willy_nil

I did this by accident once. PCA showed .03 but at CS it rang up a penny and they said "you got a great deal have a good day".

So am I allowed to post deals on here or am I supposed to be worried about SD'ers stealing everything?

It's gotten to the point that it's not even worth posting deals on a public/open forum. Just look at what happened after the last few good deals were posted (nailers, compressors, etc.)

Problem is alot of people watch this and then bang it's on SD. I wouldn't post anything huge on here or big name brands that most people know about. We all know how to use the PCA and we look when in the store.

No one is stopping you but I wouldn't make it easy for the non members to find anything.

With that said I did snag 12 ******* items at under $50 each and total weight was just under 2,000ibs .... Go Fishing they are a steal.

It a a bummer to, because deals posted here have really helped me out. For example, I was about to throw down 475 on one of those 30 gallon compressors, and then I saw the deal for them for 110! Saved me a ton of money on something I was already planning on purchasing. Same thing on the 52 toolboxes.

I have noticed this thread has slowed down since the recent SD blowup. Bummer, seemed like a good thing going, then all the SDers had to ruin it...

Some people here have an obsessive paranoid belief that the only source of slick deal posts are just from here, instead of idk, the hundreds of thousand people that see the deals in store, like when a store doesn't hide their clearance merchandise and properly label them on end caps and in the middle of the floor where anyone can see them.

wish hot deals were members only, preferable a small minimal post count too. 25-50 posts would make it difficult enough for Slick deals people.

Thing is slick dealers haven't ruined it. If you can use the pca or just know how to hunt the stores, you'll be fine. Biggest obstacle for me now is time. You really have to have the time to put in to get the deals.especially when they drop. Now that I don't have the time to really hunt, I know I have missed some nice deals that I was following but got to put those bricks in the wall now.

true, but things pop up here that i didnt know i needed, then was able to find in my stores! i search the PCA as well, but alerts on here were actually great for me. seems my stores were always a week or several weeks behind others, so i knew what to put on my list.

i do thank you and the other regular poster as y'all have helped me get a ton of tools (and a few of my coworkers that needed compressors!) that I would otherwise not been able to get. Thanks guys! i try to contribute the best i can, but am not in the stores as much as y'all.

I found a Marquette faucet mixed in with some other faucets. It wouldn't scan at check out and when I looked, the barcode was sharpied out. Must be an employee messing with penny hunters.

Best way is pay to play. A small membership fee.

I'll pay a membership fee! BUT I want guarantee penny deals :lol_hitti

Honestly I think the people who get mad that this deals turn up on other sites are the ones starting to flip tools. The Pro's have nothing to worry, they know the system.

The nature of the beast is timing, We can post great deals but it does not mean guarantee stock as we all know.

So you left without getting anything for the free battery? Should have gotten a 2 pack of 3aH or money off or at least a raincheck on the battery

I'd like just to find a 50% off deal. Even those are hard to come by in my AO

Crescent double x pliers are $15.04 with a 5/4 date when will they drop again (best guess) and what would they drop to, $5 or so? Thanks

I got a two-pack for $7.52.

Someone hid them way back on a high shelf in Clearance. But I'm tall.

Generally clearance pricing around here is up to 10% off. I'm happy. :)
