It is a 60 volt flex voltage battery that can work on 20 volt tools. They have a new line of tools as well that take advantage of the 60 volt batteries. One of them is a cordless table saw.

Some company posted the tools for sale prior to the announcement, then had to pull them from the website.

I think they are supposed to have some 120 volt tools as well that run on two of the 60 volt batteries. I haven't seen anything to confirm this though.

It's just a repeat of info that has been posted in article after article since the beginning of the internet...this thread sucked even before that article was posted :)

fwiw, that was posted to FP of msn like 2 weeks ago, so whatever happened here bc of that has already happened. i think the fact that the linked thread showed zero post activity and this one only showed the usual one or two new posters is indicative of the MSN article just generating a few clicks and little else.

this thread has tracked downhill for 2 mos straight. i noticed it when i was posting deals that werent yet posted when i was going to hd on like friday afternoons... but its even worse with the ppl crying abt slickdeals 247. only knock i have on sd is that they banned jiffy last yr even though he was carrying the whole thread...

I saw that and another ***** or few with similar. I know a store with 2 of them but with idiots like that out there, I didn't even bother.

I wasn't expecting them to be big sellers either but apparently anything with the Dewalt name is hot on eBay.

Had them listed at $150. One guy bought 3 at once (only cost me $20 to ship all 3 together), and the 4th sold within 6 hours

On another note, someone just bought all 7 of the Nutones I got over the weekend at once (gave 2 to my dad). Had them listed for 79 but he asked for a bulk discount so I lowered them to $70 each

lol wasn't trying to give you ****, but in reality you could actually lose money at $120 after fees and shipping. You'd be better off returning it.

Haha. Just store credit right? Not gift cards?

Edit: just store credit.

I wonder if they're gonna start asking for ID to redeem store credit in-store

Just cracking down. Sort of shocked it hasn't been done before. Lady told me in order to use store credit you MUST show id after the 30th. Don't see it anywhere online though.
