I've been looking hard for that damn thing. No luck. I'm ordering it off ohio power tool for $219 and it comes with a 5ah battery for free.

Saw one sitting in the clearance end cap. Price checked it and my heart sank... Still $219, I'll be watching this one

Hahaha, nice work! How many stores you have to hit up to amass that collection?

Only had to hit 3 stores. I'm already running two wink relays in my home so this was a personal purchase. Can't beat $2,500 retail for under a dollar.

I know you are local, so you and I may have tried the same store.

I only found 8 of the GE Link light bulbs.
I passed on some of the TCP connected bulb because I heard the company was discontinuing cloud support after 30 June.

They should still work as dumb bulbs.

Did you find any of the GoControl kits?

Read the first post on this thread

They looked it up in store... I had called. I was unsure if their store price check differed from actually going to a register.

They were indeed 20$ and were sold out all 3 local stores.

Anybody else having luck with these?

Well thats ***** for who ever paid full price. Not me, :bounce: I have a bunch of them. They work fine with the app and wifi, they are nice LED light bulbs. Still selling on ebay in bulks if you want to get rid of them.

P.S. You can use other apps like Wink App to work with the lights

just to clarify, in-store clearance prices will not be shown on the homedepot.com website. you have to go to the store and price check the item. also, NEVER call a store and inquire about clearance items. if they did have any, you just lost your chance after asking about it (they'll take it for themselves).

found these a few weeks ago. I forgot to post them. Picked up all 5 they had at the store.

You wanna sell one?

Thats a ridiculous price, Ive never seen ANY of the AirStrikes on sale, much less clearance.

no one here got in the crazy Milwaukee deal last night?

Was anyone else able to re-create it? There were 2 pages on the SD thread when I got there and the only person that had it actually work was the OP.

Judging from the description, it only worked because of a cashier that didnt know any better.....I dont think it was a system thing.

EDIT: I stand corrected, looks like it actually worked at self checkout too. I thought about making a trip to try it but didnt bother. Oh well. Red tools dont seem to sell as well as yellow tools, and I didnt want to keep any of the tools involved in the "sale" anyway

Fantastic deals on those M18 cordless items. I am now migrating to Milwaukee M18.
Looks like Home Depot fixed the pricing error this morning. No one is getting $300 off anymore.

I stopped at some stores yesterday in Denver and it was unreal how many people were there. Like do you all have day jobs??

they are all a bunch if hipsters that brew beer, code, and make furniture out of 2x4s and a kreg jig and call themselves "industrial, reclaimed, sustainable woodworkers".

I got into the M18 and M12 stuff through the 50/100/150 off promo. Obviously not as good a deal as the accidental 300 off, but I wanted specific tools that werent in that mistake. I actually went whole-hog and got FUEL only in both 12v and 18v.

That way I never have a regret about not buying enough power :)

lol what was this $300 off deal? completely missed that one.

There is a promo in store right now, buy up to 3 tools get 100.00 off.

Somehow the promo was mistaken last night and taking 100.00 off PER TOOL. 18V grinder, sawzall, circ saw (all non-FUEL), 2 pack of batteries and hex flood light were in the promo.

damn... that would have been a nice way to break into a cordless set if you didn't have one already.

I wish HD sold Bosch cordless stuff so I could add more to my set.. Lowes is being stingy on the grinder and jigsaw I want.

Yeah, Im already broken into Team Red so I might have been able to re-sell some stuff to fund other tools, but tool reselling seems to be iffy around here lately. Even my DeWalt kits arent moving very well.

Meh, if HDs system is that stupid, is anyone really cheating it?

I was just being sarcastic. For the people that complain about the penny items or using loop holes like that, you can take your morals, I'll take my cheap tools and money.

actually the manager at my HD was happy about the discounts. My technicians will be happy with new batteries and tools. My father is getting additional father's day gift. :D

Now I don't know if I should sell my Ridgid set. Here is the sale.

M18 Circ saw $19
M18 Angle grinder $19
M18 Recip saw $29
M18 Drill with hard case, 1.5a battery, 3a battery and charger $19 (this took more work)
M18 LED light $Free
M18 5a battery with charger $39
M18 two pac 3a batteries $29

This actually make more sense for those already with Milwaukee tools. Why would you not want to add a few tools and batteries for essentially nothing? I on the other hand, now have too many tools to unload and too many more tools to buy.....

My M18 tool collection has spilled out of my Ridgid cart toolbox. I dont need any more M18 tools!

The 5aH batteries would have been a nice to have, I guess, but I have 4 4aH packs already so Im not hurting. I wouldnt have kept anything other than the battery packs, but Im not sure how re-selling would go with the other tools. Would have been nice to fund an AirStrike or Milwaukee cordless nailer but I lost track of the SD thread and didnt realize it actually worked at self-checkout (I dont have any luck getting these deals through actual cashiers)

I'm not sure the Wink app will control the TCP connected lights after the 30th. I believe they work with the wink app because it sends a command from the cloud via TCP/IP. I could easily be wrong.

The GE Link lights should still be fine.
