I rarely check this thread now because there are too much chit chat not enough deals. I hate flipping through pages of useless chit chat. This thread has been almost useless for a long time now.

I just go straight to the Pro Desk and check the system. I order for work often and they know me so they don't care.

Am I supposed to be impressed? You complain about the lack of deals here but don't share your loophole. Didn't want your slick deal buddies to get mad? You're probably the one posting stuff from here over there.

What's hilarious is the comment I had in mind when I mentioned the people saying grabbing penny stuff and using loop holes for personal gain is immoral was made by you. Get that hypocrisy out of here

I found out about the Milwaukee deal late and got to the store at 8pm, most of the eligible tools were gone but I managed to get a couple through sco.

Here's a question for any sellers.. I sold something for $300 on eBay, shipped USPS (with insurance). Dropped off at Staples on Sunday. Staples doesn't scan USPS stuff.

Should have been picked up yesterday, but nothing is showing on the tracking (still says label created). Called Staples and they said everything was picked up yesterday.

If USPS never scanned it into their system, are they still responsible for it? Gonna stop by Staples on the way home from work, but I have a feeling I might be screwed on this one if nothing ends up popping up on the tracking number.

Had that happen and USPS rejected the package but never sent it back to my house. Other option is maybe it was never scanned and will scan when it reaches the hub wherever that may be (Londonderry?)

give it a couple of days might pop up when it gets to the hub. Iv'e had that happened to me before.

But if isn't scanned and the buyer doesn't get it you might get screwed on the loss.

I've experienced something similar... oddly enough, it never showed up in the system until it arrived at it's final destination. No one could ever explain why that happened. Kinda' like Area 51 ****...

Officially, you're screwed if it doesn't shop up. I've filed insurance claims before on USPS item that was dropped into a package bin inside the post office. They refused stating no proof on my end. Their repsonse is that you need items scanned and receipt to prove drop off.

lol great, so my only proof would be security camera recordings at Staples.

USPS has the worst tracking of all the shippers, I should know I work with the post office.
