Got this from slickdeals;

Ridgid framing nailer, 89$ originally 229

Other stuff on sale at HomeDepot.com

Supposedly a one day sale.

And no, I don't post stuff there that I see here.

After using the 16 ga AirStrike for the first time, Id seriously consider the 18 ga to go along with it!

I just paid the 179 price for the nailer without battery or charger, debating buying this deal and returning just the nailer. And Im not sure what the regular tool-only price on the 18ga is, not imperative to have the charger or battery but for 119 I might bite anyway.

I remember those being on clearance like a year and a half ago and someone got one for a penny, but none of the stores around me ever clearanced it out.

This was the full table heavy duty one.

My dad was just asking me about framing nailers. I recommended the Hitachi that I have, but for the price listed above for the Ridgid, I'll steer him in that direction. I have their 16a brad nailer and like it a lot. Thanks.

For a professional framer/carpenter, I would recommend hitachi and makita (max is suppose to be great but no experience with those. A little below would be the bostitich, etc. then ridgid, porter cable, etc.

For occasional use or home owner, any would be fine outside harbor freight. No idea about the freeman and some of those types but they are probably at least ok.

For the one day price on the ridgid, that's a no brainer.

I just bought the framing nailer for my dad. I'm having it shipped to his home. Thanks OP.

Sell it, the reviews are horrible [emoji3]

I've had no problem selling my 14's for $90-95 and 16's for $105-115. Still have one 16 left.

If you're selling on eBay, open the gas cap and sniff it to make sure it's never had gas in it. I've gotten a few that have clearly been returns.

I can't get rid of the 16's for $90 here. Nothing sells very well. I have pretty well quit buying stuff to flip because it just sits around in the way and gathers dust. All I get is lowball offers for 1/3 to 1/2 the asking price.

Rumor is too many phone calls on little items. ;)

I mean it's not really a rumor, it's what was actually happening. I'm sure there were plenty of other reasons they had to institute a new policy, but having your customer care team constantly dealing with calls over penny stuff sure doesn't help

Stupid people ruined it

No more penny buying

It so bad now you can't even pay the former selling price. They'd rather throw it away

Thanks to all the lurkers that called hd complaining about it the past couple years

Well that really ***** they're not doing penny deals anymore. Doesn't really affect me any, both my local Home Depot's were always on top of stuff and they never had penny items laying around, but it ***** for the people who were able to get them.

Anybody see any good air compressors on sale lately? All I've got is a dinky little Harbor Freight one, but that won't hold up for impact use.

One penny. I know Spn got a couple of these a while back and sold them in the parking lot. I somehow managed to squeeze it in the passenger seat after taking it out of the box!

922-501 local store has like 6 of them all STILL at full price it's rather annoying. Anyone having luck on patio furniture or LP/gas fire pits- I was told By a corporate employee doing a customer satisfaction for my neighbor the east coast gets the deals first then west then Midwest- typically. I've only seen a couple left over from last season but those were long gone long before any good work started

I'm curious....how do you scan that at the SCO? Cuz anytime I have a big item they always come and scan it with the handheld
