I was going to get one for a penny at one store, looked on CL saw the prices a few idiots were asking and left it rather than possibly get caught at SC and make it more difficult for a better item.
Some people are real jackasses and think they are "making money" when they sell things so cheap. Why go through the effort to make $20 or $30 on things. Not worth the time.
I am still finding the makita xt248's for $165, so if you like a nice brushless for a huge discount keep your eyes peeled. Got a couple today and a dck240c2 brushed for a hundo. Guess I am in the makita exosystem, are the cordless circular saws worth the $$$, I already have 2-3.0 amp batteries :��

Nice, I have the older model of that vacuum and it works great, good power and easy to store. I was happy paying full price as the tool is good, but a penny is awesome.

It is crazy what people will do to save a little. Peanut oil from christmas back up to $29.95 it should have pennied out.
When should these go to a penny?
i dunno bc i didnt watch em, but i think those are .02 here, fwiw
some other junk i saw:
-a waterpik shower head with a button pennied out. no clue regarding the sku or clearance timetable for it.
-some kind of 'earthquake' tape is at .02
-black and decker powerbank is at .03 at one store
-still cant find store that was clearancing temp2o showerhead
-ge wink hub and bulbs were at $25.00 from $49ish
-connected bulbs still flying around for pennies
-plenty of random light fixtures at penny still.. one that comes to mind says 'troya' on the box
-hoover lithium ion vac at like $147.00 ish from $300
-saw a dyson 'animal' vac that was marked no home but forgot to check the sku/pca price
-hdx tile cutter/snapper/scorer < whatever > $7.52
-and the led bulbs that are in the quoted pic above are .03 and some of them are obscure ones like gu-10's, mini candelabras, etc. pretty low prices considering the obscurity. local hds or some local dealhunter tends to pull bulbs quick here so i grabbed what i might need

I've seen a ton of lights at multiple stores over the last few weeks with that date that stayed at the .03 price, even though it was well past when it should have pennied. I guess they've finally dropped!
That's a hell of a button because I can't see the date fully zoomed in on the original photo on my comp.
I got a 513328 today for a penny with that date.
I also saw a Graco painter at .06 (X7 I think)
Maybe it was an X9 I saw. I saw an X9 at another store tonight for $438.06.
only $40. The guy was driving a challenger too.

The paslode trim nailers are still 100$ at my store, but can't sell them at all, not even any hits, guess I'll grab them when they hit penny status

I wish they had the trim nailers around here. I was able to find a framing nailer at $100 a few months ago, but could really use the finish nailer now.

I sold 3 or 4 trim nailers no problem for about 200 a piece. Offerup and local forums I'm on were best for me.
