Mine will show the # badge on the app icon - but, will not vibrate/sound alert. Kind of defeats the purpose of a notification.

It is for sure hurt me posting and commenting. I get busy with **** and forget about this, but if I were getting notifications to show up on my notification bar on phone I would check it more often. There loss I guess.

It's worse than just lurkers... It's as bad as SD now. Back in May when those nailers clearanced I was at the customer service desk checking out with a cart full of them, associate answers the phone and I hear him say "yes they've dropped in price, and there is a guy here right now buying them all". This was at 7 am. People aren't even willing to get off the couch and go to the store.
