I just found this board today. What's the point of posting your deals, if not to help others? So what's wrong with asking for details? And I did share my one awesome penny find from home depot....

Now I have a new question... If something is reduced to.. 03, why wait for it to drop to a penny and risk it not being there when you return for it????? I'm confused by this.

.

because way to many people are here just to get the deals then run to other sites and post them, thats why most of the new deals aren't posted here anymore. too many people wanting handouts and not willing to put in work.

Ego blowers at 0.03 pricing.

By themselves (no battery or charger) on the rack, double checked the computer and it stated they come with 2.0aH battery and charger. Found the display stash in the back corner with all the chargers and batteries and ensured I got them since the computer said they came with them!

Could you please share the sku or upc for the shop vac and chainsaw? Thank you so much.

Head to your store and search the computer. You will need to go there anyways to purchase them. This threads already has all this info posted a ton of times.

I have been clearance shopping for a 1.5 years at HD and had just never run across anything that went through the seemingly normal cycle of 25% off 50% but then instead of going to 75% off, it just went straight to a penny. I am not a penny shopper at all. I really couldn't care less about penny finds. We are extremely excited to get items 75% off! I am sad that people on this forum don't want to share their deals. I get that it is frustrating that people buy these items and then go onto ebay and slick deals trying to flip for a profit. Some of us actually are in need of the items we purchase though and are appreciative of the help!

I will share this amazing find with you, because I am nice. Weber Genesis s-330 Propane Gas Grill SKU ending in 366, $139 at my local HD. This is a $949 grill! Had to go to a different HD to get one and took it to my store nearby that had it on clearance and they let me return/rebuy! Probably will never get that lucky EVER again.

thats called retail Fraud , home depot does this with lots of items one store will have it on clearance and one wont, But intentionally doing this is fraud

They didn't say anything at all and it even required manager approval. I would imagine they would have said something to me if it was serious, as I clearly told them that I purchased at another store. I wasn't aware that was considered retail fraud, I guess I think of it more like price matching, although I do understand they say that they won't price match clearance items.

Take a look at how many views this thread has gotten since it started in January. That's an insane amount. A lot of us as you can tell flip a lot of the stuff we buy, I've got 3 fat women I pay child support to so this helps that bill. With the amount of exposure this thread gets deals get posted over at slick deals and other sites. We really saw it back in May. Nailers, Dewalt combo kits, ladders, etc got posted from here to SD and once it's on SD it's as good as gone.

I'm all for people getting deals. I've sold stuff to guys on here local to me at cost of I find it and they don't. But as a reseller you only shoot yourself and others in the foot by posting deals here.

We're all more than happy to teach guys the system and how to get the deals, but a lot of us got tired of people coming here asking for handouts and all the lurkers. You caught flak for your question because it could have been answered with a simple search. Both the vacuums and chainsaws were posted all over the thread the past couple weeks.

An incredibly dumb manager to allow that, I would love to be a fly on the wall when that hopefully gets back to them. The average employee and likely most mods don't know as much about their clearance system as us, probably at the bottom of their list of concerns on a day to day basis. I'm sure if you did it enough you would be hearing from them. Illegal or not it's a real **** thing to do, don't be a ****.

^ Yep.

It's as if you cut down a tree, cut it to pieces, split the wood, then season it for a year and a stranger stops by and asks for a pile of wood. Umm, what's in it for me since I did all the work and you show up and want the finished product.

If someone puts in work, I'm more than happy to share.

Because of the lurkers, I use PM to talk deals most of the time.

On a side note, when I look at my item pages on eBay, why does it say "free delivery in 4 days" when every one of my listings is set on "free economy shipping 7 to 10 days"?

don't bother flipping cheap stuff like this unless you get it for a penny. not worth the time for next to nothing profit. If you need/want one for yourself at 75%, that's one thing..

I don't get the last sentience. You and the store know they won't match clearance prices but you asked them to do it and they did it?

I think eBay is overriding it because your zip code is the same as the listings. Max handling time is 3 days and I'm pretty sure shipping to the same zip code should get it there within one business day with all carriers.

I would delete these posts as I'm sure HD corporate tracks this thread and can find a way to trace this move. May result in a ban or something. People doing things like this are what ruin the deals for people. We've already lost any help with penny items. This stuff is only going to hurt us.

Finally it drop in price over here. I don't have any RIDGID battery or chargers so I will play the penny game on this.
