Does anybody here actually know how the MET process works? I mean specifics, like:

Do they print out the yellow stickers on the cart or do they get them from a central computer/printer. If they print them out themselves, do they download data from a store computer into a computer on the cart, then print the stickers? What I'm really trying to get at, is exactly when will the price drop appear in the PCA (and at the checkout), as compared to when the MET puts the sticker on it.

Clearance items here are fairly scarce, with two endcaps for the entire store. Between competition from other customers, the MET, and the employees, it's become fairly apparent that the only way to win at this game, is to be 1st on the scene.

I'll watch things in clearance for several weeks, then they disappear. But the quantities are such that they couldn't possibly have sold. Like automotive light bulbs - 50, maybe 100 packages spread across 10 part numbers, they just vanished. MET once told me if I buy something for a penny, they lose their jobs. Whether true or not, they're zealots when it comes to removing penny items around here.

So how do I beat them at their own game? There has to be a window of opportunity between the time prices change and the moment they put the new sticker on. About the only thing I know, is that prices seem to change on Tues/Wed.

They print their labels as they go. If they find a penny item they usually put it in cart or bucket to take to the back.Some stores have put stuff in a dollar basket at front of store.

They were still there this am. They turned them where it is harder to see barcode. Porter cable compressor on top. I will keep watching them.

I sold one the other day for $120.Almost out of them.

Does anyone know if there is a way to filter the results in the PCA to only show items in stock at that store? I can only seem to find a long list of out of stock items, there have been a few things that show in stock at other stores but when i went to the other store the item was regular price in that store. I did manage to get one of the Ryobi 18v Hedge trimmers for $18.02.

^^^^^ all those questions have been asked a lot. Probably why no one is answering you. You have to put in foot work to find any deals you can't sit back and SD from the couch to find them.

The key cutter kept giving me the stink eye, then picked up his phone and gave someone my description. Otherwise, have been to a few local stores and scanning the rafters for a couple items on my list, with no luck.

Start scratching my neck and picking at my arms. Walk around the store with some high dollar items in a cart. Walk towards an exit quickly with said items then walk around some more. Rinse and repeat.

Ask said employee to get the store manager for you as you feel unsafe in his store because someone is following you around.

Husky paper and contractor bifold on sale.Did any one on here try to buy makita compressors on cheap price match or was it sd people? They bought 7 dewalt guns at $62.

I have another question that may have been asked before, but hoping someone will answer..
I'm rather new at this but it seems most clearance items are being phased out/replaced by newer items.. So in terms of the m12 fuel sets that are now back at $230.. Do you guys see these going to clearance again at some point?

Nothing much this morning. Gold plated shower drains for $1.97.
All the flexible rubber couplings in plumbing are at .06 prices, and a few LED bulbs on sale with a generic sku. This is a a store with no customer PC, and the appliance section was very busy with a few employees at the same PC. This particular store is always a challenge to check PC prices and I didn't have the time to wait around.

What bow said, it's obviously a husky. How hard is it to run to the store to look and see if it's in stock.

I found it just by walking the store. I noticed a big box that was different than the others and then used the PCA to find it. Store showed 0 in stock. Several employees provided some good entertainment when finding out what kind of deal I just got.

Also, the model number is F2S20VWDVP, SKU 947265. And if anyone is curious, they will fit in the back of a crew cab Sierra...but just BARELY. I have a hard tonneau with work stuff in the bed so they couldn't go there.

My store has 3 that are about the same size. All husky. I was not sure if this was a pricing error so I was not planning on asking for help. Just grab and buy.

I guess I'm just used to the way slickdeals runs.

He was on the phone with an associate waiting for someone to get a sku so he could get the associate to walk the aisle and visually check the rafters while he sits at home.
