He was on the phone with an associate waiting for someone to get a sku so he could get the associate to walk the aisle and visually check the rafters while he sits at home.

Nope sorry. You dont get a price check you buy it. And that way you don't ruin the deal for the next guy.

My store doesnt even have a PCA, and they have a hard time keeping 1 or more SCOs accepting cash.

I've tried a bunch of the LED replacement bulbs, and so far those Cree ones have the fastest on time, coupled with quiet operation. the difference is dramatic with others side by side.

I have noticed that HD is experimenting with price reduction for a clearance items. Usually it goes .06 -> .03 -> penny. But in case of Husky 8 gal oil lube compressor it dropped from .06 to a penny this week in several stores that had it in stock. Those stores that had 0 stock dropped to .03 price level 3 weeks ago.

Also I've found out that most recent PCA software allowed me to change store number to perform search at a different store location, without physically going there.

You can actually do a price check yourself if you tap a Price Check button on screen of the SCO. If it is a good price you can add it to a transaction. If it is not, just hit cancel.

Lol duh. What's really sad is in my town they have assisted check outs. Yes assisted. Someone is there to help you. And they even edited the lighted bubble saying it's open. With "assisted checkout ".

Has anyone else noticed that they aren't doing the .06 or .03 price reduction much? I've seen a lot lately where they are .00 and won't budge from that price. That reduction is like going from 21.58 to 19.00 so not a great savings. I just learned about this back when the nail guns were getting clearance and got a Senco stapler for $28.

Are you sure you're not shopping at true value?

I tried it a couple of days ago on 1.2.29(i think) and it kept telling me the store number was invalid. I know it's a valid number.

I passed on 3 of the $63 DeWalt Framing Nailer's in the Moreno Valley, CA store an hour ago. They were in the overhead directly above the nailer display. I don't need one and I have too much **** to sell already.

Are you near the oil fields in S Dakota? Or can we get another clue?

Trying to confirm and ask for assistance. Maybe the window is closed or was never open. I have purchased on 7-10-2016 and 7-31-2016. Do these times qualify for the 11% window and if so, could someone lead me in the right direction for the form.

If no form, how well do they stick to the yellow highlighted area? I have a form that ended on the 9th of July, but brain farted and didn't check for the 10th and 31st. I want to say the 31st menards wasn't doing a 11% deal, but could be wrong.

Help?

I've still got husky 30 gal oil lubed compressors and husky silent compressors that I can't move from 5 months ago. Compressors seem to be REALLY slow movers

It looks like it depends on PCA config/settings. Yesterday I've tried to change active store on two different PCA in appliance section of HD. It worked only on one of these and not on the other.

First time I have heard anyone say it ever worked at all. Did you see the price at the remote store ? Did you see inventory for the remote store ?

It worked like I was physically present at the other store. I was able to see the price and inventory for the other store, even for the items that could not be found at the current one.

Was at a store last night browsing the PCA in the appliance section as I usually do. A guy comes up and asks if I need any help, tell him no im ok, just looking a few things up. He proceeds to stand there and watch, ask if I work for Home Depot etc.

Just told him I was looking at tool sets when he then starts telling me about a few deals they have, Husky screwdriver sets for $5 other tool sets etc. Then he leads me around the store showing me lots of stuff that's marked down.

He then tells me all about the mark down system and how the .06 means it will stay at that price for 6 weeks then drop to .03 for 3 weeks then it will drop to a penny and they will donate it. :spit:

He also told me they give away stuff all the time once it drops off so I think I will be visiting this store more often to snag some penny items!

Ya eBay is flooded with nailers. I have mine priced higher, don't care if it takes a few months to sell

This is my approach as well. Weather the storm and get a realistic price once all the idiots undercutting each other sell theirs.
