I operate the same but sell all local. Moved several Homelite chainsaws yesterday as we had storms come through and knock down lots of trees. There was one other guy selling a Homelite local and I messaged him telling him not to drop his price and we'd both be able to sell what we had. All of mine were gone within two hours. It's funny how someone will message you with a lowball offer and if you stick to your price they'll keep messaging you raising their offer price over the course of a few hours.

What I can't stand is when they agree on a price, then show up and still try to re-negotiate or pretend they didn't bring enough cash. Next guy that tries this shenanigan is going home empty-handed, I won't even sell for full price.

This!!!! Happens way too much. Actually that was going to be my next plan of action as well.

I didn't bother checking because they wouldn't fit in my car anyway, but are the Ridgid WD1276 12 gallon shop vacs pennies? The ones with the lighted car cleaning accessories

LOL I have actually been looking for shop vacs for 6 months and 12 stores near me with no luck. Even offered to buy some off other GJ members but shipping always seems to kill the deal =(

Hello, new to this whole HD clearance thing and appreciate all the good info that is shared here. I have found at multiple HD's the Milwaukee 2796-26 combo set on clearance for $500. However never in stock in the stores, except for 1 store which does have it but they do not have it marked down, still at full price $999.99. I asked the asst manager and even had a picture of the screen at another store, but they would not budge. Is there any recommendations to get this done? I was thinking ship to store maybe and then price matching at the store that does show this item on clearance? Any help would be appreciated.

No. They're on clearance at those other stores because those stores never carried that item. Home Depot does this for whatever reason. Probably to keep stores they don't want that item being sold at to keep from stocking it. They do this with all kinds of items

Thanks for the quick reply! I knew this was too good to be true! Its weird though because that store actually has the newer combo with the 5maH batteries for the same price...

It might just be slow to drop the older model. Probably because they actually still have it. Keep your eye on it and pray you can catch it if they drop it

Yeah, that's the plan. I thought I was going to hit it big, the Milwaukee rep was there and was going to give me some bits and an extra battery, but I def wasn't going to pay full price.

I'm back from quite the hiatus. Picked up 42 various husky sockets (loose sockets 1/4, 1/2, 3//8) for a penny each. Caught by SCO Cashier. Given them for free! So keep an eye out for single sockets. Only saw then clearance at one store however

Swung by 2 HDs after work, 5 pennies + a freebie. 2 items was from a HD that's notorious for We Don't Do Pennies GTFO so that made my day.

They are quick sells for me for around 50% off retail on the bay. Probably could get more if I held them for a while.

Another freebie, now I have a backup grill cover, these things never last long. Was caught at sco on my 1st trip tho, I'll come back for the rest later!
