After 2 years of building a home for me and my love it's time to build a garage for my VWs.
So here we go,
First I removed big rocks, dirt and clay.

Not so big, only 6.4m x 6.4m (21x21) and here is one of the VWs. It's a 1954 "Barndoor". The Chevy truck is sold to a friend.

I am a GARAGE JOURNAL junkie and I am particularly addicted to the "international" threads. Some of what I see is very familiar and some of what I see is new to me and quite innovative. I think that most of the problems; size, climate control, organization, etc. are universal and the solutions are adaptable to garage and shop projects regardless of their location. Welcome to the GARAGE JOURNAL and please keep the pictures coming. We like pictures!

When I saw the second picture I thought "that looks like Sweden", then I saw that you're from Uppsala. =)
A garage specifically for VWs and with the foliage in the pictures, made me think of the Pacific northwest. It looks like northern Oregon, Washington, and southern Canada (British Columbia).
