Finally getting around to starting over with what i threw up the day we moved in 3yrs ago and was hoping to get some ideas for how to get all this stuff in the basement in an efficient manner. I had some makeshift cabinets and organizers along the foundation wall, but just took it all down for a clean slate.
Basically this needs to support a pretty avid DIY'er, bike shop and basic wood working. Will be adding more lighting as well.
the area is about 13x13 with two open sides. I could wall it in if needed but have left it open for larger sheet goods on the TS.
bigger stuff:
rolling toolbox (this could be under a workbench)
27g upright compressor
rigid hybrid TS (rolling base)
miter saw
This isnt going to be anything fancy or expensive. Hoping to make a few base/wall cabinets and add some more work surface along the blank wall. A rolling island or something would be nice, but not sure if i have the room.
Otherwise, any ideas or pics of what you've done to get the most out of your space?
