Sorry to be a bit long winded here just thought more detail made the (true) story better..
So, Yesterday I am working on my compressor, adding an automatic drain valve
So I shut it off and drain the tank, now I already know the "T" fitting isn't going to fit under the compressor so I have a 1/4 elbow and enough 1/4 pipe to get out from under the compressor (its an upright) Its now that I figure out that I don't have enough height to get the elbow installed (why do they make those legs so short anyway?) OK, no big deal I only need about 1/4" more in height to get the elbow installed & I have some 3x1/4 stock in the shop & plenty of concrete anchor sticking out. All I have to do is make 3 slotted shims so I cut 3 pieces 3" long, layout the slots, fire up the plasma, pull the trigger...... What?? its not working.. It worked yesterday whats going on here??
Look at the front panel the pressure light is on... Duh, man am stupid no air, no plasma... (Homer moment x1)
Ok no big deal I'll just drill a hole & make 2 cuts with a cut-off wheel, So I drill the holes and put the cut-off wheel in my die grinder and plug the die grinder into the AIR HOSE........................... (Homer moment x2)
I guess when you get used to something its easy to forget how much you use it!

I hadn't even stopped to think that I needed a female end and not another male end. What an idiot!
