Just perusing Sears since that 3pc prybar set was mentioned a few posts ago @ half price and found these
SK 8 pc. Impact Socket Set, SAE 3/8 in. Drive 6 pt. Swivel
Sears Item# 00919486000 | Model# 33300
Marked down from $139 to $78, very tempting but I can't find any codes that will work, I'm guessing clearance items don't take codes.

Yes, no codes are working on this one. So it is more than $90 after shipping and tax.

I found one locally (kinda) and they will only budge to 450$ open box display model.

any receipts? or tips to get it down, she asked if there was another store giving this price and all I had was this post.

I ended up getting mine for $450 as well. In fact, I called all the stores within 50mi of the guy who first posted the $400 deal and all of them said $450 as well. I think him getting it at $400 was a mistake.

But, hell, $450 for a 180-amp class MIG welder isn't a bad deal.

The called all the stores in my area and they all listed it at $400 also, but none of them had them in stock.

My area is 45449 if you want to find any of my local stores to price match against. Good luck

Shipping was $5.95 for me and I missed the CB and the free ship code!

Still I think it's a solid enough deal for me to add some SAE swivels to the stable.

Mine didn't have a box and they seemed unsure if they had all of the parts so the took fifty off. Nothing was missing in the end. I gave my reciept to a friend to see if he could get a price match.

As for anyone that got in on the socket deal, I got mine today and wow. 300 sockets is way more then I anticipated haha.
Going to need some more holders and a new tool box now with all the 6 pt and 12 pt in there.

But the main reason for posting is some sockets are missing ,some are doubles, and some are even RUSTED!!
Just an FYI to inspect what you received to anyone that ordered a set.
Going to have to figure out how to get replacements. :headscrat

I get mine today and I am missing a whole 1/4 set, but craftsman is taking care of it and sending me the missing sockets.

Different Sears Outlet stores carry different stuff, first one I tried was Santa Ana, Calif and they had a dozen or so racks of clearance type clothes, but NONE for men. Tonight we tried the Brea, Calif store and the whole top half is clothes and we each took home a shirt that was originally tagged $38, and yes they had some Craftsman clothes. Each Tuesday email you get can be passed on to 10 other people, but all the coupons so far are the same code (tied to my membership) so I just print two copies and give one to my son.

Just got back from the home depot buying ridiculas priced 5/16" hardware to finish a project and on the way out saw the dewalt 18v kit for $99. Wasn't the XRP nor did it have hammer feature but 2 battteries, case, charger and drill for $99 seemed like a pretty good deal.

Would have got one but scored the XPR hammer kit from King tools for $99 shipped last earlier this year.

Phew, it took me a while to sort through a leaked sales flyer and put the links together. I also found a Sears press release that says these DoorBuster deals will be available in-store AND online.

Here's also a (downloadable PDF) with the same clippings and links.

A couple of the deals are repeats from last year, but there are some very nice ones - GripLatch ball bearing storage, Gladiator Premier wall GearBox, 1/2" impact sockets, Craftsman C3 combo kits, etc.

Got mine too, but didn't get a free tool. Didn't know about it until after I ordered. To be honest, if they have no problem giving away a free tool, they should just put it in with every order over $50 instead of "hiding it in plain sight" on the website. If one doesn't know, one won't see it.
