How soon until someone posts how they're going to sue over this, and how someone needs to be held accountable, and blah, blah, blah?

I missed out on the deal. Do you think I might have a case for discrimination against people who sleep at night considering the prices were up in the middle of the night? I think it might be a clear and deliberate case of discrimination.........

Craftsman multi-meter $11.49, doesn't look to bad for a basic meter: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_03482141000P

Picked up the 51 piece 1/4 drive socket set at Lowes for $14.95. I'm very pleased with it for the price. Will be returning the individual metric and SAE sets I bought at $5.99 each since this set includes all those and much more stuff! Maybe get another one! Going to pass on that Craftsman cart for $99 in favor of possibly getting the HF one, even though as someone mentioned the HF is too expensive to compare to the Craftsman
haha1.gif
. That doesn't really help the chat to deal ratio though....

How did you get that for $14.95? It's showing up as $19.98 for me.

No cancellation email on the Milwaukee 2410-22 M12 12-Volt 3/8-Inch Drill/Driver, and the order has vanished from my account. No communication from either Amazon or the seller.

Guess they've got some catching up to do...

Could you post the text? I was not in on this but I'm just curious for some reason. It is interesting how people deal with these kinds of things.

Subject: Explanation of your recent Amazon.com order cancellation

Dear Amazon Customer,

Thank you for your recent purchase from SupplyBuy through Amazon.com. I regret to inform you that we have made a grand mistake and will not be able to fill your order. Just to give you a little background, we are a very small business of only two employees. Most of our products are shipped from 3rd party distributors, and our margins are slim to none. For those of you who think that you are dealing with only corporate giants in the Amazon marketplace, you are wrong.

Yesterday afternoon I made a programming error that grossly mispriced almost all of our items. During the short time that all of these incorrect prices were listed we did approximately 100 times our normal amount of business. If we were to fill all of these orders that were incurred yesterday it would cost us nearly three times what we do annually in reveune alone. In other words, fulfilling your order, although it may be our obligation as a seller in the Amazon Marketplace, is an unfortunate impossibility. I most sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and I beg for your sympathy in this human error that I have made.

Im pretty sure they would have caught it either if 20 guys bought 1 or one guy bought 20. That or they simply ran out.

Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.

Everyone got that error for a span of about two minutes, sorry about that. I changed the URL structure and then copied the redirect script from ohmyguyd. After testing I saw the error and went back and fixed things.

It's actually only about 6 inches shorter, but includes way more drawer space in cubic inches.

It's a killer cart for $110. The HF costs a minimum of $50 more, but has way less space, and is missing the work surface and outlet strip of the craftsman.

That being said, the HF's roller bearing and closeable lid, and the obvious weight difference points to the strength difference as well.

Do you have this cart then?
Think it's decent for stationary storage?
See this thread, can comment there if you want to, or here,

The Craftsman cart was $99 a couple days ago, I do see now in the cart it shows $109.

The Craftsman tool bag deal $9.99 for the 16 and 20 inch bags is pretty darn good. The bags are not bad at all. I picked up three sets and was using a few today. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00937540000P?prdNo=1

They also have the large mouth 12 inch for $4.99, that is a nice bag too. I bought six of those a few years ago at that price and really like them a lot http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00940947000P?prdNo=4

That's the black 4 drawer model, not the red 5 drawer everyone is talking about...

Was in my local HF today and they have the black one listed for $149, didn't check it out too much, the "crowd" (read; the people of wallmart on fb!) in there was worse than wallmart...OMG.

So the black has less drawers?

FYI - Anyone that ordered the SK flex ratchet from Grainger!
I ordered on 11-25-11 for will call pickup. I called on 11-29-11 to check the status and see if they knew when I would be able to pick it up. The rep told me on the phone that it would be available on 12-01-11 and that I would receive a call from the store to pick it up. 12-01-11 came and when I had not received a call by 4pm I decided to call again to check on the order. The rep then told me that the ratchet would be ready the next day 12-02-11 and that I could call in the morning to verify. I called at 10am the next day to see if it was ready. I was told that the item was on vendor back order and that I would NOT be getting that item. The rep then told me that they have a substitute ratchet at the store ready for immediate pickup and then told me the item number which came back as the proto ratchet for $80.
I declined the $80 proto.
Fast forward to today. I called this morning because I've been reading that some of you have been getting there ratchet. I gave the person my order info and they said that they cancelled my order BUT they were available at my local store for will call pickup for $80 something but they could UNCANCELLE my order and I can pick it up for the original $16. price. I thanked the person and drove right over and picked up my new SK flex head ratchet and only paid $17.69 with tax.

So if you had an order placed you need to check on it. They are available. I saw the computer screen at the Grainger will call. It showed 12 available within 400 miles of Detroit (I think 10 of them were in Chicago).

My flexhead was delivered today, after several emails and a few phone calls. On the one i received the head feels choppy/sloppy and the flex pin appears to be off center in the hole, I think someone else on here had posted about that same issue with one they received. I might see if i can lube it and maybe center the pin with a punch.

Less drawers, less weight capacity, no gas struts for the lid, feels cheaper.

I didn't see this listed but Lowes has the Bosch DDB180-02 18v drill/driver litheon clearance for 99.00, I did the 10% off for 89.10 plus tax. I will use it a bit next week and see what kind of quality it is. It is 150 on amazon. This tool also qualifies for the Provantage warranty so they are standing behind it. if you just need some more batteries this seems reasonable. I would pick this over the $119 nicad Dewalt.

That's a pretty good price, although I am not sure its worth the $35 savings over the DDS181. 1/2 chuck, more power, better led placement, slightly larger battery capacity sways me to thinking I'd rather the 181.

Amazon has it for $125 shipped right now:

that is easily probably the best "i f'd up and im sorry to inform you" letters i have ever read. Man'd up and took the heat. I would have no issues letting someone slide on an error if they owned up to it like this guy did.

I've been following this thread pretty closely for a few weeks now, and I still dont' see where anyone has posted how they've got the Lowes 51-pc. 1/4 drive set for $14.95 instead of $19.95. I've even tried searching the same zip code area as one of the posters who got it for the lesser price, but it still comes up higher on the web site. Granted, the web site can be problematic- it lists the Crossform sets for $24.95 or $14.98, depending on exactly how you search for them. In stores near me they're still at the higher price, but you can order online for store pick-up. The manager matched the lower price on Crossfoms.

Home Depot Husky 10-pc universal combination wrench set (spline) SAE or metric is $15.00 in my store, but still shows $19.88 online. I bought one set of each at the store.

They also have a set of mixed SAE and metric (I think 14-pc, but they're not with me right now) for $10.00. They only go up to 14 mm and 5/8, but they're relatively low profile (thin) and I think worth it to have a slightly thinner set for tight spaces without spending quite a but on a full, dedicated thin desigh.

In both my local Lowes, they are priced at 14.95 on the shelf. I looked that set over, but I didn't bite, as I have more 1/4" drive sets than I need now.

The local stores to me are Utica, and New Hartford, NY use zip 13502, and see if that works.

No, still coming up at $19.98 in Utica even when I add it to my cart online. I don't need it so bad that I can't wait for the price to drop near me. If I miss out, it's no great loss.

Still $53.99 for the 18-piece USA Cman Pros in the module set. With all the posts about no more available via mail order, I'm guessing they're getting rid of the last few USA-made sets to make room for incoming non-USA full polish.

I gave in and bought another set (store pickup).

The 10-piece large set isn't on much of a sale, so no second set of those (yet).

Just picked up mine. Impressive quality for the price. Have to keep my eye out for the larger size matching wrenches on sale - love to snag a set of those on sale.
