My local Lowe's ad showed mentioned a Free Bostitch 20 oz framing hammer (#61398) with the purchase of one of the following:

Bostitch Torpedo Level #30167
Bostitch Reel & Chalk Kit #61893
Bostitch 25' Tape Measure #58525
Bostitch 16' Tape Measure #193095
Bostitch Twin Blade Utility Knife #314794

Figured I can always use another utility knife so for $11.75 I got the hammer and knife. The discount is taken at the register.

While walking into the store I saw yellow tags on all of the Mr. Heater 45k and 75k natural gas garage heaters, vent kits, and thermostats. Prices for all are 50% off regular retail. Was hard to resist but I need to insulate, drywall, run electric and then get some help for the actual heater install - maybe next year.

After I saw this I went by my local Lowes and they weren't running this deal

Well I work there, it was the display model. They were markin stuff down to get it sold to make room for new stuff. It sat for a while at 79 bucks, I asked the manager if he'd take 45 for it and he obliged haha. I just have to get the charger, which goes for 34 bucks on amazon.

Glad you don't live near me.......:headscrat:shocking:....on a side note, how about one of those pullers.....I've give you 100% profit at a buck each....

100% profit would be $.02 .......at a buck, it's a 9,900% profit!

bahaha i thought of that... i dont mind giving em away for a buck... i dont need that many... its just like a drug tho... its such a high finding such an awesome score... the only thing is that shipping would make it vitrually paying full price....

i stopped by a hd in berlin nj found 2 nail pullers in the bottom of the wooden box that holds the large stanleys...rang up for .01 a piece:beer: they also have a dewalt 12pc sawzall blade pack on the clearance shelf in the frt of the store.it rang up for $12 so theyre a $1 a piece too

sweet!! how GOOD did that purchase feel?!?!!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::bounce::bounce::bounce:

This is almost half off of the best price I could find online, I just ordered a set. Wish they had the same deal on the matching metric set...

on that note devildogtools.com has a great deal on the metric set with the extended size set included for around 200...

http://www.devildogtools.com/kdge85pl85ge.html

Well, thanks to you my bank account now has $195 less dollars in it. I have never heard of Devildogtools before. Thanks for the link!

I bought from devildogtools before. The owner Mike is a tool junkie and very cool to work with when I had a problem with the tools order. I highly recommend them.

This is just what I was waiting for! Used my craftsman club coupon for an extra 15 bux off 100. Doesn't stack with SEARS5OFF50 but still a great deal (the craftsman club coupon). Thanks for the heads up!

Picked up my 84T 3/8" ratchet finally along with some craftsman pro plier sets.

But I thought Sears never offered discounts except once a year?! Surely they don't offer a discount every single week! :bounce:

Oh how I love justice.

Is there anyone that can help me?

Sears.com would not allow me to use 2 "$5 off $50" coupons (only 1 coupon allowed) with today's "15%" discount on the Craftsman Premium 3/8" drive ratchet.

Thanks,

Dave

I don't think it will let you.
I tried sears5off50 and love2011. Either code you enter replaces the other. The 15% today still applies though (applied to the $5 less price).

You can look up the now locked Cman premium ratchet threa, look at the last page. Someone posted the "coupon cabin: link......you log onto that, it automatically gives you the 5 off coupon, then you can enter another.

Here's the link from the thread...
http://www.couponcabin.com/s/coupons/sears/

I've used that 4 times this weekend, also signed up for the free "Shipvantage"....I've made a killing at Sears.com this week!
this method should be stickied!

I got a 1/2" premium ratchet for $79.99-$12.00-$5.00=$63.99 plus tax. Not bad. I've been waiting for this kind of deal. I have the 1/4 and 3/8 so this completes my set.

I don't think it will let you.

Ahh, ****. I just spent $65 at a brick-and-mortar store, and I was only able to save $2.50. The more expensive items were classified as "automotive" (oil filter wrenches), and didn't qualify for the $10 off of $60 discount the clerk tried to give me. :(

Thank you. I used my birthday coupon code to save another 10 bucks

How do you get the birthday coupon code? my Bday is coming up at the end of the month.

I went ahead and did the 3/8 premium ratchet to see what all the hype is about. $59.99-$5-$5-$7.50=42.49 +6.95 shipping (out of stock in all stores) + 3.46 = $52.90 out the door.

Like i said they're Gearwrench. 90-100 is their going rate [retail] for the set alone so its not a bad deal. I picked up both SAE/Metric Master sets some time ago. Nice combo wrenches, pretty much dead ringers for Matco wrenches as far as design [opti-torque open ends].

Regardless of how nice they are the street value is in the toilet. When people look at GW they want ratcheting, not combo non-ratcheting box ends. I think i paid a guy about $60 per set and there wasnt exactly a mad rush if you get my meaning. Nice looking and functional wrenches all the same. Cosmetically and in use they'd fit right in with any high end brand. If you're going to put them to work and dont mind the COO dont hesitate to pick them up.

I don't have more than a few SO odds and ends. I need expert opinions here. Is this a real good deal for a Snapon virgin or not? I can use these for working on my stuff but this seems like a pretty good deal to get started.
