The Milwaukee router bit deal turned out to be better than expected. They're all made in Italy, which is Freud. If you look at the cutter profile art on the back it's exactly the same as Freud.

I scored 7 bits @ $5 each, while the Ogee Fillet bit was $10.

Re: Milwaukee Router Bits, $5 & $10

Preshers via Amazon.com slices up to 90% off dozens of Milwaukee router bits, with all prices reduced to $4.99. Shipping adds $5, but orders over $25 qualify for free shipping.

http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1281895...rt=price&prv=dealnewscom&cur=dealnewscom&ses=

I'm in for 8. Good pricing.

I took a quick look at this and ignored it because the photos showed mostly 1/4" shank bits (I prefer 1/2); then went back later and looked more closely, there were all kinds of 1/2" shank bits offered...that's an amazing deal on 1/2" shanks...typically you'd pay $20 each + 5 shipping. So with this deal you get 5 for the price of 1? If they are Freud sourced, I'll be happy, have been very satisfied with Freud.

I saw that there are a bunch of 1/2" shank bits as well, but... I don't really need any bits these days. Barely use the ones I already have. I'm not sure if I can let this sale go by without splurging for a bit or three.

Gearwrench 8pc standard or metric reversible combination wrench sets half off at Sears $39 this weekend.
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/search_1...0P&vName=&viewType=gal&viewItems=24&adCell=W1
That's a good deal, but a couple years ago, I stumbled onto them at a Sears clearance sale in Ann Arbor for... $19! I bought three or four of each metric and standard. I'm not sure if someone made a mistake entering them or what, but I scarfed up all I had the spare cash for. It wasn't this same 8-piece set, they were 7-piece sets, but still a smokin' deal!

Ridgid Pro Jigsaw at HD $149. Coupon code "SDCQB" cuts it in half to $74.50.

http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs...code=cii_5784816&locStoreNum=6647&marketID=48

Is that coupon code just for that item?

I have that saw and it is really nice. Bought it about 4 years ago. MIne came with a case and I didn't see where it said this one did or not. I was in my local HD today and they had three of these same saws with no case, just the saw for 69.99 on clearance. I thought about buying a spare just to have for that price but had to resist. They also had a small husky compressor for 40 bucks which I almost picked up, and may still do tomorrow. I have my big two stage and a smaller dewalt emglo right now. The dewalt is on wheels and is really powerful for it's size and is really nice for framing and roofing and other stuff but is a little bit of a pain to drag threw the house for trim. Would be nice to get a small light weight compressor just to keep inside. Might not last long but I don't plan on using it to much.

[EDIT: All right, who bought them all last night?]

Neico 13 pc allen head socket set $15

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GYLGU8/?tag=atomicindus08-20

I just ordered the 13 pc allen head socket set in metric and standard, for around $30.

I really hope it's as good a deal as it seems!

The funny part is, I have absolutely no use for them yet haha. It just seemed like a good idea at the time to order them :bounce:

So what's the scoop on 20% HF coupons? All the ones you find online say you can't duplicate the coupon or print it out at a computer...is this true?

http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=1276399

I've posted that coupon a few times here when it's asked for. Print it and take it in works every time since it is from their website. I also keep a bunch in my car in case I stop by, don't forget your free flashlight.

Same here, 2 of my 18 showed up today. Packaging could of been better though, my box was so badly damaged that one of the bits was knocked out of the retail package bouncing around in the box. Stupid usps.

FYI, Freud has had a "known problem" with pack-outs. When they sell two-bit sets, they arrive loose, with the carbide banging the **** out of each other. AFter two attempts at getting a two-bit set from Amazon, and sending both back due to heavy damage, I called Freud and got a limp-wristed apology, and an acknowledgement they had a problem with their subvendor who made the boxes. I was hoping the bits mentioned here were protected individually?

All of mine were also individually packed, the first shipment was just beat up by usps. My second box arrived today and everything looks good besides a little surface rust on a few of the bits, Its not on the cutting edge or shank so Im ok with it.

Sears is having a 15% off all (non sale) tools online. Add the 5% off SEARS5OFF50 coupon, and you can get a decent deal.

A reminder for those that live near an OSH (e.g. in California): Today is the last day to take advantage of the 50% off GearWrench sets. You can combine it with the $20-off-$50 coupon from completing an online survey to get a quite nice deal that's unlikely to be repeated -- a $90 retail set plus another tool or two for about $30 plus tax.

Have a link for that survey or resulting coupon?

All I found on the site was 20% a single item.

Not sure if this is new or old but noticed Tooltopia has the single Hansen socket trays on sale for 7.35 [1/4" and 3/8"] & 9.35 [1/2"] each. When purchased individually they actually come out cheaper than the 6 peice set by a few bucks. Shipping would kill the deal but if you had other purchases as well to get it over $100 [free shipping] it would be worth it.
