All2Tools.net has Milwaukee's new 12v heated jackets on sale thru Saturday from $110. Most stores don't have these in stock. Click thru the All2Tools deal flyer available here: http://bit.ly/cjLAGE

That deal is for the coat only! No battery or charger is included, however there is another deal with all included on dans link for $160. Ive seen the coat for $210+ so its still a good buy.

That is pretty tempting! But do I neeeeeed it?

Edit: Oh who am I kidding! Picked one up! Thanks
DAMN YOU! I was getting ready to hop on that and its up to $98, maybe Ill watch it for a few days and see if it comes back down:beer:

The way it reads they should have said good for screwdrivers only

Tried to buy the 7-drawer side cabinet for their 13 drawer bench with a 20% coupon yesterday. They have these new limitations posted over every register, and wouldn't listen when I said they can have my money with the coupon, or they can stuff it without. They chose to stuff it. :( Guess the son has to pay for his lavish lifestyle and lawsuit against his father...

It's still good on some expensive items like trailers, metalworking machines, blast cabinets. Can't believe they won't let you use them on floor jacks. Bet their revenue drops off for a while. I know I'm not buying from them for a while.

I've said it before - HF's strategies are changing. They've been advertising more online, revamped their website, and recently launched an affiliate program. They're trying build their online store into something that can compete with the other big guys.

Alright I got a deal for you all. For anyone that has a Discover credit card...

1. Log into your account online and sign up for the bonus program (free).
2. Click to shop through discover and then select to browse all merchants.
3. Scroll down the list to see HOME DEPOT and SEARS - You get 10% back this holiday season.

Note: You must link directly to the merchant through your discover card account and buy the product online to take advantage of the savings. This is a pretty good deal since you can just pick the item up locally in the store many times. You MIGHT be able to combine it with other discounts but I can't say that for sure - you just gotta try it. Let me know how it works out for you.

until you read the fine print...

Call and complain. 888.866.5798 is the HF Corporate line that I just complained on about the new retail coupon policy.

DO NOT call the regular customer service line as this is a phone center in India. The very helpful Indian customer service rep using the name Greg Norman (seriously) was the one that provided the direct corporate line.

HF Corporate stated that they have just implemented a "Coupon Correction Policy" which seems like a load of ****, since my Nov retail store flyer that just showed up last week had a 20% coupon that stated the discount was good on "ANY SINGLE ITEM" other than gift cards and Campell Hausfeld items, not not any of the "new" exclusions. Similarly, there are new 20% coupons that run until March 2nd 2011, that do not have the limitations.

It seems like HF Corporate made a hasty decision to maximize Q4 profits by limiting the coupon use on high-ticket items during the forthcoming holiday season.

That GearWrench ratchet is showing up $54 for me. I wouldn't mind having one for $25. How do you get the sale price?

The price is still $6, so I ordered one. =)

Maybe I should order two? Goodness, I'm a shopaholic!

I ordered one as well and it arrived today. I am hugely disappointed though because the end rivets are incredibly loose, almost like it is designed this way? Am I missing something? Part of the reason I bought it was because it bragged about the 4 rivet design and I figured 4 rivets were much less likely to loosen up and throw accuracy off than 2 rivets would.

Has yours arrived? Does yours behave like this?

Cheers!

lol, don't worry about. I had to explain the same thing to a colleague a few days ago. At one pointed I needed to have the same explained to me as well.

Are you guys talking about the difference in measurement if you push the tape against something versus pulling? or lack thereof?

try to contact your local government consumer affairs agency. that seems like false advertising and deceptive practices to me.

I just used the
BIG40 - ($40 off orders over $100)
code at advanceautoparts.com dropped my total down to $73, so I changed my oil filter qty to 3, and that bumped me up over $75 for free ground shipping, about $8 Cal sales taxes, but still left me amazed at a total of $85, and nothing wasn't a pretty decent price before the discount.

I don't know if or how long the other codes will work, but this is the whole list from a week or so ago in this thread.

BIG10 - ($10 off $25 or more)
A123- ($20 off $50 or more)
BIG30 - ($30 off orders over $75)
BIG40 - ($40 off orders over $100)
BIG5 - ($5 off $15 or more)
BIG50 - ($50 off orders over $200)
P20 - (20% off all orders - no minimum)
