My bowl-o-pliars arrives tomorrow, I only paid 1.99. My dad used to say "dumber then a box of two dollar hammers." This isn't far off.

Chrome handled screwdriver set in aluminum MIL-style case with bottle opener, $9.49 at Amazon with free shipping from seller. These look fancy, they probably **** but I'm a sucker for chrome.
Hey Dan I like how you put the little picture before the description. How do you do that?
I just take the pics off Amazon, "copy image url" on the right click menu.

This is one of the better MSC deals. Buy any 5 different items and 25% comes off the total with code WEB25. It expires 12/3.

Usually these discounts start at $199 or $299 thresholds. There's a near limitless number of filler items at MSC. (ex: drill bits.)

Or spacers. If you search, you can find a bunch of really cheap hardware.

A Seller on Ebay just posted 11 Pc. Sets of Metric Armstrong MAXX Beam wrenches for $91.00 shipped. Cheapest web price i could find is $160.00. These are the same as Craftsman Cross-Force [unless your store has the newer china sets] however the Armstrong set also includes the 11mm and 16mm which are, for some reason, omitted in the Cross-Force line-up. The ebay price is also cheaper than the 9pc Cross-Force price by about $20 before shipping is factored in.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330503403934&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Highly recommended for anyone who wrenches for a living or even on the side [i do indeed use them so first hand experience talking]. Very comfortable combination wrenches when trying to bust bolts lose. Good for smacking with a hammer to free those especially stubborn fasteners as well.

These look tempting. I need a set of combination wrenches. hmmm. How good of a deal is this?

Paying extra because this are reversable when flipping them over does the same thing.

A few have stated they have spun one into a stuck position and were glad they had this option.

Personally, I like the flex head option.

Lowes, Kobalt 5 Piece Pliers Set $9.98
Those are Chinese and the quality is spotty. I'd go to Home Depot and get their Channellock 4pc kit for $40, and use a good coupon like OSH $15 off $50 when it comes around. Well, that's what I did myself anyway.

That's compatible with the Gearwrench Vortex system, and the Kobalt ratchets are more comfortable IMO, but when Sears does 50% off GW their sets are a better value. The 49pc all-sockets-and-drive-tools kit comes down to $25 and flies off the shelves.

+1 on the Kobalt thru ratchet being better... As much as I like GW, their vortex ratchet is ****. But hard to pass up when its 50% off like Dan said.

Craftsman 31in two-tier steel service cart, $40 at Sears. That's 50% off and the same price it was for one day last week. Harbor Freight's clone is $35 and on backorder, this deal looks really good to me.

Stolen from Slickdeals: http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?sduid=49596&t=2443489

Cliff notes:
$25 off $100 DeWalt purchase on Amazon. Must be sold by Amazon to qualify, discount will show in check out page, not cart?

Discounts that don't show in cart seem common at Amazon, their recent Mechanix glove sale worked like that.

Quit riding my coat tails, Stuey!! 2 posts above! :shocking:
lol, oops, sorry about that. I saw the discount at checkout and got excited. Threw up a quick TG post and then came immediately here.

Where do you input the coupon code for the free shipping?
See attached screenshot. That should be where it goes.

Huh, I can't get the $25 off $100 Dewalt offer to work. I have $100.89 in my cart of Dewalt items and I started checkout... Any ideas?

I have this set and I love them. Built very well and are comfortable. The channel locks are are a little on the small side but they get the job done.

I also have a set I've had for a year and it is good quality for 10 bucks. I keep them in the camping toolbox.

There are also other promotions on the Dewalt 12v Max tools in addition to the $25 off.

For instance I got this
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0043XX872/?tag=atomicindus08-20

and this
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000R94EG0/?tag=atomicindus08-20

For $114 shipped.

With the 3/8 impact you get the $25 off and a free battery.

Chavist93, sounds like you got a nice deal!

Thanks for the heads-up about the other 12V max deals. I knew about the bit set deal, but didn't see the one of the battery. Now I'll have to edit the deal post scheduled for TG for tomorrow. =)

btw, I <3 that hex driver!
