wow thanks so much for the info. I ordered:

1/4,3/8,1/2 drive GW pass thru metric socket sets
GW flex head ratcheting metric combo wrench set
GW 5 piece tap and die driver tool set

I don't think any of the items was more than $20, and all retailed for over $100-200!!!

I snagged the last Knipex. It will be handy for cutting closet wire shelving that I recycle for smaller projects.

It's hard to say if those GW deals will go through or not. I scanned Wesco's store and it was a mixed bag of items and prices.

Is it possible that GW is discontinuing these sets?

You'll have a hard time cutting the larger bars with those, but they should snip right through the small stuff.

I resisted the urge on the gearwrench stuff. I just cant seem to find a good use of any of the pass through stuff. I know it seems like a deal but if you never use it, then its just a waste. Hope you guys get them shipped
