I see it is $5.44 each online. That's a smoking deal. Buy 5 and combine with $10 off $25 and it is down to $3.44 each.

HOT!!!

There's a link to SD. You'll see some hints on how to try to get them to work. Good luck.

Found it. Thanks.

Does anyone else have problems with showing the Knipex 2pack Cobras in stock? I've got it added to the cart but every store says it's unavailable, but when I click change store it shows there's more than 5 at each store. It won't let me check out or ever show it's available when there's stock. WTF this *****.

Lowes.com is giving me problems. Couldn't get the coupon to work on the mini bolt cutters, and the website is hanging and crashing on me.

Works on the Cobra set, but I already have a pair of Knipex-made Craftsman ones. $20+ tax is a good price, but I can't really justify it.

And no, I haven't been infilitrated by an alien mind/body snatcher.

I had the exact same issue. Had a pair of needle nose lined up, about $20, and just couldn't pull the trigger...I have so many already, wasn't sure what I'd do with yet another pair.

One of the best ways to stop buying Knipex is to get into some other area of tools where you really NEED something. I've discovered that machinists NEED loads of tools that you typically don't otherwise own.

I really wish they sold the mini angled bolt cutter there... They were trying to sell it on amazon (the one with the comfort grips) for like $61... That's wayy more than I want to spend for one set of pliers... cool as they may be. I had a hard time even buying the 10" Pliers-wrench with comfort grips for like $46 or something like that... I will admit they are pretty awesome though and very unique...

Re: Gladiator track hot deal!!!!

Yeah Gladiator track is good stuff, especially at that price. Check out gladiatorgarageworks.com. Check out the links to customer photos etc. Even a fire engine uses gear track in it to store gear. If you install it, pre-drill the holes.

Just factor in the cost of all the hooks and attachments you want to buy. The tracks could end up being the cheap part.

Yeah, I otherwise get my Gladiator stuff on craigslist, ebay or searsoutlet.com or when Sears has a 30% off sale. Otherwise its almost cost prohibitive.

Lance: Hi, my name is Lance, and it is my pleasure to assist you today as your Personal Shopper. May I have your name please?

Dave: I found this coupong code "NUTCRACKER" at toolguyd.com. However, it's not working for me. Can you confirm this is a valid coupon code today?

Dave: Thanks.

Lance: I would be happy to check that for you. Please allow me 2 - 3 minutes to find that information for you.

Lance: I appreciate your patience.

Lance: I would be happy to assist you with that, may I have your item number please?

Dave: Sears item # 00927034000 Mfr.model # 27034
Lance: Thank you. I will be back in a moment.

Lance: I appreciate your patience.

Lance: I am sorry to inform you that this coupon code is not valid for this item.

Lance: I apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused to you.

Dave: Uh, ok. Thanks.

Thanks, Dave.

Sears got back to me with a somewhat ******** response essentially saying that I'm the only one who complained or mentioned this, and that maybe we weren't trying to use the code on "sears.com" items, and that maybe I didn't post the exclusions found in the newsletter or on the Sears.com site.

I included your chat transcript in my response, hope that's okay.

Advance auto is closing out some of their gearwrench socket sets. 13 piece SAE and Metric sets are 22.94 + tax. The metric is part number 80558

Advance just emailed coupon code NEWY, which is a 20% discount. It does work on clearance items, like this set. That makes this set only $18.35.:shocking:

I just checked online and several of my local stores still have them in stock.

My local sold me that set for 1/2 off the sale price of $22 ($12 and some change after tax) when I went in to pick up my 128 piece set. Look for the red tags on them behind the counter...

They said it was not an internet sale.

Here's a YMMV for anyone looking for overhead storage. These are discontinued at Lowes but I went to one store today with over 15 of them. They're 45x45 made by Hyloft. They're going for $22. I don't recall the original price but it was over $55.

http://www.lowes.com/pd_51955-15897...d=10151&ddkey=http:SearchCatalog#BVRRWidgetID
They closed these out once before. I bought one, then when I went back they were at regular price. I guess close-out doesn't mean what it once did, does it? What store had 15? I can't find nay local stores showing inventory.

Order the Metric (80558) and the SAE (80556) online with the code LC123 and get them both for a total of $29.88 plus tax (For store pickup). You must not have used this code before or set up a new online account to get around that.

The Menards sale flyer in the paper this morning said they are offering 11% off everything in the store (via a Merchandise Credit rebate) from January 1st through the 9th.... said it was good on tools, etc. Looks like it should be good on the Masterforce toolboxes as well.

Of course, it's a "merchandise credit check," as is their usual style, but chances are you'll be buying something else there anyhow in the future.

Saw this on slickdeals:

TylerTool.com - 30% Off All In-Stock Items (exp. 1/3/2011)
Use coupon code "NEWYEAR30" to receive 30% off all in-stock items.

Not sure if they are a reputable site or not... but FYI!

I purchased some items from Tylertool including my Bosch 4100 table saw and I did not encounter any problems. It was a one time purchase and have not ordered anything again so far.

Sears is offering 5% off online purchases. Don't know what the restrictions are or how long it runs.

I used that and the SEARS5OFF50 coupon code to get an 84tooth 1/2 ratchet for $60.

I just HAD to get them both (SAE and Metric) at this price. The code gave me another 34% off the marked down price. Result = $14.94 each.

My first Gearwrench ratchets.

Also bought about $137 worth of auto parts for $90.......a 35% off reduction!!!

Advance has lots of codes also free shipping on most orders over $75. This is a list of all of the ones that I have seen, all of them say limited time offer:
BIG5 - ($5 off $15 or more)
A123 - ($20 off $50 or more)
BIG30 - ($30 off orders over $75)
BIG40 - ($40 off orders over $100)
BIG50 - ($50 off orders over $200)
P20 or NEWY - (20% off all orders - no minimum)
LC123 - ($16 off orders of $40 or more, $24 off orders of $60 or more, $32 off orders of $80 or more, $40 off orders of $100 or more)

LC123 seems to be the best for most orders

BIG35 - ($35 Off Orders of $85 or More)

Be careful with their site though because it will let you enter more than 1 coupon code, but it seems to apply the lowest discount.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this one. I need a lil chainsaw. Anybody have any thoughts on the gas refurbished Homelite?

Just be careful with those little saws, they're finger biters. If you're looking, look on Craigslist, I just got an almost new Husqvarna 455 Rancher for $250. Those little saws aren't good for much other than an emergency clean up.

is this deal dead? the metric set 80558 is coming up as 46.39 for me, which makes it eligible for a $16 discount using promo code LC123, making the set 30.39.
