Decent price on a Wera Bit Holding set. I have these in both my motorcycles. Very easy to store in tight spaces.

Wera KK 40 Kraftform Bitholding Screwdriver w/ Bit Set, 7-Piece $20.75

I know it may not seem like much to offer up, but I've been searching because this has been such a good read for me. I've had the full line of these little guys on my wish list for a few years 'just in case', but relegated them to their own list to get rid of clutter. One is pretty cheap right now.

Freud 7620L 2x49mm (2mm shank) Left-Turn Solid Carbide Drill Bit - $6.45

http://www.amazon.com/Freud-7620L-2-Millimeter-49-Millimeter-Carbide/dp/B00004RK4B/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I3RU74SJXGZCK9&colid=1TUIOEDBF2GNP

They've all gone down a bit since I started watching, but this one just hit it's stride I guess. An assortment of small solid carbide drill bits is probably something you reach for three times a decade, but this is a toolaholic's speakeasy, I think I'm in the right place.

If anyone is on the edge about the HF Red Service Cart, just DO IT!
Bought mine tonight. Thing is ridiculously heavy (yes that's a good thing)

If you do get it....wait until the end for final torquing of bolts! Some pretty tight tolerances on this thing, but totally worth the $

How large was the packaging box on that HF cart? Trying to figure out if I can fit in my car...

Home Depot has the Dewalt reciprocating saw blades on clearance for $1 (all sizes). Don't know how good they are but for a buck...

This is tempting, and I don't even own a reciprocating saw.

If you're curious, there's no COO specified on individual blades, though the multi-packs (with the same blades) state made in the USA of foreign and domestic components.

I picked up this set up for $5.00 at HD last night while buying the $1.00 Dewalt saw blades. FYI they had 3 of the 3 piece Milwaukee sets somewhat hidden...

http://www.homedepot.com/Milwaukee/h_d1/N-5yc1vZzv/R-202392097/h_d2/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

I would have been really tempted to pick them up. At $149 each, plus the free $69 battery, there is a lot of value there. People are selling these on ebay for quite a bit more, and parted out, they are doing even better. Seems like there are several ebay sellers right now parting out the kits.

Sellers on ebay are getting close to $150 on a part out for just the Haxkzall, charger and two batteries. That leaves you with the screwdriver, drill, bag, and the free battery. Nothing like subsidizing the tool budget!

You have peaked my interest. How does one go about getting the free battery?

Walked through Lowes last night and several of the Kobalt air tools were on clearance. Drill, sander, grinder, air chisel, impact wrench. Not sure if it's just my store or not.

My store in south texas did the same thing, but only took 10-15 dollars off the prices of each..but they had about 30-40 tools..they had them all on the floor under an isle endcap.

Well, I went to a couple more HDs today, hoping to score some more of the MW deal. They had several of the two tool kits, but none of the 3 tool kits. With the mail in free extras offer, if I needed them, I would have grabbed one of the 2 tool kits, as it is a pretty good deal with the free stuff.

I did find a stash of the DeWalt recip saw blades, so I loaded up on them. Demo on my duplex starts tomorrow, so the timing was good!

Depends on the vehicle. It should fit in the back of a station wagon or SUV but I don't see it fitting in a sedan or couple. I put mine in the back of my F150 which has a deep box bed and I couldn't even close the tonneau cover all the way. I had hold it closed with string.

I did a google search, and the best I can come up with is that IKT is a local chain down by you? Please keep me updated on the Wix filters, my stock is bone dry!

I asked the guy at the parts store about it and he said that its a rebate program that wix does with them. they do it a different times of the year depending on different things. I picked up 3 oil, an air filter, cabin air filter (for the scion) and oil filters for both mustangs for 34 bucks.

I got mine a few years ago and I think I paid about $250 or thereabouts. It is well worth $300. I probably would have paid $400 for it just to get something that quiet in that class.

Anyone with a wife or GF who buys a lot of clothes/shoes/jewelry/etc. should take this as a lesson and show some sympathy. Tools are man-jewelry and tool boxes and cabinets are our jewelry boxes or closets. Plain, simple, clear and obvious. It's a habit that sometimes escalates to a pathological behavior and whether a man or woman, we love our respective hobby.

My wife found us a MAC cart for $100. It's nice to have a second set of eyes on the classifieds.

I don't know if this list has been posted before and I'm sure as hell not reading through 3800 posts to find out, lol. Claz searches 3 different classified listings at once. The DO NOT search Craigslist.

Just got the 3 piece Milwaukee combo for 147.50 out the door. Now on to fill out the form for the three battery. Thanks for the heads-up!

Found the 2 piece MW 'deal' an hour and half away so I picked it up. Went an hour and a half to the other HD and traded the 2 piece in for the 3 piece. Great deal - thanks for letting us all know. Also picked up 3 BP hammers, 12 dewalt blades, the MW bit set and a few other gadgets. After getting home, my dad called and I told him about the deal. No 3 piece MW sets near him, so looks like I'll be going back to the HD tomorrow to pick him up a set. Thanks again for spending my money! lol

I don't think the HD around here even stocks Dewalt blades, only diablo.

Unless they were clearanced out a long time ago.

The dewault blades are located at the contractor (roll up door) entrance. There will be a pegboard style stand there. I have never seen it anywhere but there. It is certainly not located in the tool section.

well that *****. I was just there and didn't head over to that part of the store.
I would guess at $1 each they are already gone.

Not necessarily. I have 8 stores around me and they have a fair amount in stock. Better move quick though. Good luck.

My local lowes was clearancing kobalt air tools. Some where display models others were in the packaging. They are made in China, so that's what it is. I did buy an air grinder set for $14.99, passed on an air drill for $37. Also Greenlee 6 piece was on clearance too.

Makita MAC2400 air compressor for $232 free shipping from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0001Q2VPK/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
Unfortunately you will have to wait 2 to 4 weeks for delivery as they are out stock at the moment.

Probably the same oil-lube pump in my IR compressor of the same style, I think I paid around $250 shipped for it new on eBay and that was ~$100 cheaper than I had seen it anywhere else. It probably couldn't keep a DA going for an entire 70's Caddy hood (what compressor could, what man could do that in one go? OK bad example), but it hasn't run low on pressure for me yet. Point a fan at the head and run it for half an hour with the drain open when you get it (add oil first!).

I just noticed that the swivel ratchets that everyone loves are on sale at HF. Not much of a discount on each, but if you were looking to buy all of them ($74 together at sale prices), you'd be getting one free.
