I thought that Bahco deal was pretty good and ordered a set. I have a nice canvas roll up case that I have been meaning to load with some tools to keep under the bench seat in the back of my truck and thought this would be a great start. Thanks for the heads up.

Went into my local Ace (4 blocks away here in bad old Detroit) just to check on these 4 piece sets for $10. Hadn't been in there for years. They had one Metric and 3 SAE. Got one of each. Might like to get one more of each for the car at that price. These aren't the ones they were selling a couple of years ago marked ACE. These are marked only Gearwrench and are nice looking. For now I keep them right next to my bed so I always have tools to fondle.

Oh the in store price was $10.00 too?

Yeah, that's not bad,
Wish they had the metric in the 10 piece for $29.95. Could get a lot more use out of it.
Personally, the 1/4", 5/16", 11/32" are not much use to me.
Maybe the 5/16" for side post batteries.
Thanks,
Tony

I use the small metric stuff all the time, because I rebuilt vintage bicycles. The metric four wrench set comes with 10, 12, 13, and 14. I use the 10 and 12 quite a bit, wish it came with an 8 and 9 instead of the 13 and 14.

This set is going into my bicycle HF rolling cart.

Yeah, then they skip 11 which I find pretty popular.
Thanks,

When a quality item's 70% or more off what it normally goes for, I can't see how the shipping delay should be much of an issue.

The real question is, what is the quality of these going to be? The delay actually might be a benefit to those who got in on this towards the end, as they could cancel their order before being charged, should others report these to be of poor quality.

I tried to stack all those and wasn't able to get them all to apply. I couldn't use both the TLSTHANKS and the SEARS2011 at the same time. YMMV.

Nextec 12V Lithium-Ion Drill/Driver at Sears for $40.49 with the current sale plus coupon code (add code TLSTHANKS with item in your shopping cart).

Thanks for the headsup about this deal. I ordered one online last night but for some reason when I got the confirmation email, they didn't apply the discount code (or I entered it wrong).

Anyway I tried again today and there is some other deal going (I think 15% off online orders) plus they allowed me to use the TLSTHANKS code. Over $11 off the $49 dollar price, plus instore pick up so no shipping.

Tax included I'm paying $41.97.

I ordered 3 more sets of different kinds of nicholson files great price. My first batch that i ordered should be shipping here in a few weeks. then this batch should be here in about another month after that the prices on amazon are just too good to pass up. And besides you can never have too many good files that are made in the USA i hope.

Given that the wait time was weeks long and that their American facility was to be closed...now...i think everyone can expect files from the "new" facilities.

More than likely but we can hope for the best most of the amazon ads showed the usa files but you might be correct. There is always hope that they had a big stockpile at the factory that was closed.:bounce:

Thanks for posting the nextel deal. I almost bought it this morning when it was only giving 10%off. Since I waited till tonight I got 15% off the $50 sale price plus used a $10 coupon and my sears rewards points. I ended up paying just under $28 for the drill/driver.

Canadian Home Depot has the Milwaukee M12 cordless drill/impact kit on for $100. It's part number 2494-22 and list is $369!

Linkhttp://www.milwaukeetool.com/tools/cordless-tools/combo-kits/m12-cordless-system-combo-kits/m12-2-tool-combo-kits/m12-cordless-lithium-ion-2-tool-combo-kit/2494-22

Most of the stores don't even know it's on sale. My local store was showing one left (of course they couldn't find it). Called Vernon and they had 3 left, not even marked down. Guy scanned it and verified the price.

Go get 'em!!

Got my thread files....wait for it.........US made!!! 11 bucks, great deal!:beer:

Maybe I'll get lucky too.

To be honest with you though, even if they aren't US made, I don't think any of us will have any problems with them. I received one of the Nicholson six inch three file sets last week from Amazon to toss into my truck kit. It contained a round, a triangular, and a flat file. The pouch listed the contents as from Mexico, Columbia, and the USA. Under magnification, all three files looked identical as far as workmanship. Without looking at the stamp, I can't tell you where they were made.

I clamped a piece of scrap angle in the vice and gave each file a workout. All performed just fine.

I don 't ever remember having any Nicholson product that was substandard. Hopefully, they'll continue to maintain their standards of quality.

This deal is still going on. And they had the 10 piece SAE set listed as well. At $10, free shipping if you pick up at a local True Value, you are talking $2.50 per wrench.

Smokin' deal, never owned a Gearwrench until now, got the Metric set home and immediately ordered the 4 piece SAE set. Thanks to the OP.
