Home Depot is always good about it for me. I used that one when it was fresh on some deck chair cushions, always good to share it again.

Still works for me

Keeps saying item not found for me. Maybe because im on phone? either way, given grainger s track record on these things, we most likely won't get it any way. I don't need another torque wrench but at that price, why not try?

I almost want to try since I get free shipping. But damn if I don't have enough torque wrenches already.

Lowes - 4 tool 18 Volt cordess combination kit - sawsall, drill, impact, and light with 2 batteries, charger and carry case $140 off the regular price of $389 - it's now $249 through August 8th.

http://www.lowes.com/pd_79897-70-DCK425C_0__?productId=3044045&cm_mmc=email_promo-_-20110807-_-product-_-$140_off_dewalt_combo_kit

Personally I wouldn't touch that kit. It has NiCd batts, and once you've done Lithium, I don't know how you ever accept NiCd again. If it had Lithium, it would be quite the deal.

Of course, that's only good if the Lithiums don't burn your house down...

Mine arrived today and these are nice. They really remind me of a tool truck brand with their square edges. I haven't tried them on any fasteners yet, but I'm happy with them already

I haven't tried them on any fasteners yet either, but they do seem well made. They do remind me of a tool truck brand too.

Don't seem to have trouble with any sticking like slip jointed did.
One, it was the 3/8" 0r the 7/16" the reverse lever was stuck a bit, but I worked it a few times, and it seems OK.

It was OK, but not so sure I was loving the packing job.
Just thrown together in a plastic bag in a flat rate box.
But they all got here with no damage, better than some guys that have received empty envelopes.
Guess I shouldn't complain.

$36.00 & $11.00 shipping, vers. over $200.00 retail.
Shipping was fair too, flat rate box was $10.50.
Some of those sellers will charge you like $8.00 shipping, and it will say like $3.00 on the package.

I would like to find that set in metric for that price.
Yeah, I guess me and about everybody else here.

They have a set like that at Harbor Freight for around $40. Had 2 sets at the shop I used to hang on/work (buddies place) and no complaints.

Isn't that kinda like telling someone that's posts some Snap-On wrenches half price that the can get a set at HF for $20? Yeah their drill bits but I'm sure the US Chicago Latrobe Aerospace spec set is in a different league. No?

Wrote the seller of the Armstrong Set I got today, to see if He does the warranty, still waiting for a reply.

I'm guessing no, as it says no returns on the auction. Either way, even if I end up having to buy a new 3/8, they have them on ebay for $10 shipped. I suppose if I forced the issue, ebay would make him let me return them, since they were advertised as working and the 3/8 came essentially non-functional. I had pretty much figured they wouldn't be perfect at that price anyways...

I actually was very happy with the 1/2 socket set, it is mint condition and flawless. I wasn't happy about getting a box with sockets and wrenches banging around in a plastic bag, though.

I'm sort of considering selling them on the classifieds anyways, because I would rather put more money towards my Wright socket collection. I've got deep and shallow in SAE and metric in 3/8, but I only have shallow SAE in 1/4.

I had originally planned to beef up part of my collection in Armstrong, but now that I see their warranty process doesn't work well in my area, I returned the other Armstorng stuff I bought and am pondering whether I want to keep this stuff.

Yeah I see where he says "No Returns"
I asked in the other thread, but what about sears?
Will they warranty the Armstrong?

I dunno... I guess that is an option too. Of course, with Sears you could end up waiting for months.

I really wish I was closer to my fastenal, because they said they'd exchange them no cost.

Free shipping on most everything at Griots Garage. I wouldnt normally buy anything from that store but it makes the Form-A-Funnels the cheapest on the net at $20 shipped. I also noticed they have a mini [$10] and large version [$40] now as well. Thought i'd share for anyone else who's thought about getting one but balked at the added $6 shipping charge.

Advanced Auto Parts has a fair amount of the Griots car care stuff now, still pricey, but with the AAP coupons and sales might be a good way to get a few excellent products.
