Free shipping on most everything at Griots Garage. I wouldnt normally buy anything from that store but it makes the Form-A-Funnels the cheapest on the net at $20 shipped. I also noticed they have a mini [$10] and large version [$40] now as well. Thought i'd share for anyone else who's thought about getting one but balked at the added $6 shipping charge.

Pretty wide selection too.

Cripe Currently has the 1/4 set that would go perfect with it.

Thanks for the tip on Yugster. I just ordered the Hitachi 18V NiCd Cordless Driver Drill w/Hard Case and On-Tool Bit Set - 5yr Hitachi Warranty for $65. with a $5 coupon and $5 shipping.
Total price is $64.97

Not a bad deal as I was in the market for just this item....

They are frequently on sale for $9.99 per half set. Although it appears that there is a stackable 15% right now that makes them $8.50 each.

That said, these are very useful tools for much less than they cost under the original Irwin brand. And they are the kind of tool you want to buy before you need them. Buy the half with the plastic case first and then fill in on the next sale after they save you time.

I suggest using them in a deep socket. That keeps you hand away from from the cherry-red-hot nut. The combo works on exhaust rust blobs that you can't even identify as once being nuts.

You can get much better deals on Hitachi stuff from BigSkytools. Their stuff is mostly reconditioned but I have never bought anything that didn't look brand new and work great.

Being the cheap *** that I am, I have actually purchased some "grade c" reconditioned tools from them and have been completely satisfied. The grade c didn't look any worse than they would have if I had purchased brand new and used once.

Just came across this Grainger goof (I think)

Craftsman 1/2-Drive Digitork Torque Wrench, 25-250 ft. lbs - $31.12

here's the same wrench elsewhere on the Grainger Site

CRAFTSMAN Micrometer Torque Wrench, 1/2Dr, 250Ft/Lbs - $141.45

Those generally retail for around $100 and go for $30-$60 on ebay.

Not sure what's going on but maybe someone here would be interested.

Mine arrived today. For some reason I thought it was cancelled. Judging by some of the remarks on here and some reviews maybe I would have been better off if it was.

Schumacher Battery Charger On Sale at Amazon for $20

41FZ72akOJL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Amazon is currently running a deal on a Schumacher SC-600A for $20 (including free two-day shipping for Amazon Prime members- spend $5 more for free shipping if you don't have an Amazon Prime account). According to Amazon the normal price is $63.35, but the next closest price is $44.54.

Note that, while the product is currently out of stock (which just happened as I post this), Amazon is still honoring the price and filling orders.

I have bought grade C tools in the past and have been very happy with them. Most of them look like they just had a little shop wear and the last one I bought that was grade C looked brand new.

Armstrong SAE ratchet wrench set and deep socket. The frequent seller of these has placed two more sets of each up on Ebay again. Here's a link to the sellers items.

I am not the seller nor do I have any association with the sale. I bought one of the ratcheting sets.

Sorry, I couldn't pass them up at that price:)

I know for that price I'm pretty tempted too.
I already have a decent sears 2/10/50 boost that still works fine. ($5.00 new in box garage sale find)

Think I need a "Back up"?
Dedicated electrolysis charger?

I have the same sears charger... was also contemplating on this $20 one... but i think i'd rather save that money towards other tools. :)

The HF weed burner goes down to $13.99 with coupon code: 76611508. I dont know if they will honor that code in store. I ordered online for the first time and shipping for me was only $1.99.

weed burner: http://www.harborfreight.com/propane-torch-91033.html

I have that torch, but upgraded to the self-igniting one.

When you hit the "turbo blast" (HF's description) it sounds like a jet taking off - loud as hell!

Scares the **** out of me, but works. The only problem I have is sometimes hitting the "turbo blast" puts out the flame.

$13.99 is a helluva deal on it.

Its a smart charger, no battery, no juice, its not a power supply.

Awesome, thanks! I guess it's $358.99, not $349? Do they take printed coupons without any problems?
