I'm really glad everyone is getting such great deals on this compressor. I can't take all the credit for all I knew when i posted about it, they were all 364. You guys are making me jealous at that 183 price. That's half of what I paid last year and I thought I got a good deal. I told a friend about it and he got the Nashua, NH store to price match the Manchester store for 235. Still a great deal. He had to take the floor model but who cares...

For anyone else without a manual, you can call Kobalt directly at 888-356-2258 8am-8pm M-F EST. Sitting on hold at Lowes CS didn't help me.

Sears is offering an additional 10% off all tool pricing Sunday 9/11 after 5:00 PM until stores close. I don't know if this is in-store only or online too. Might be worth a call to find out

Worth a shot if you happen to need any Cman stuff

They have a lot of stuff on sale right now and the 10% applies to the sale prices according to the sales guy I spoke with this afternoon.

I picked up a couple of broken wrenches in a pawn shop for $1 and stopped on the way home to swap them out for new ones and found out about the additional 10% from the sales clerk who swapped the broken wrenches for new ones.

Two new Cman wrenches for a buck :D

Online started Sat at 8pm CST, but the 10% is the same as it has been for the last week or so.

Has me still tempted on a few items, but pulling the trigger on nothing so far.

How are you guys finding all of these tool deals? What is the secret? Great prices on those Gearwrenches.

I was going to get the imported Williams stubby, but for the same price I will go with these.

thanks, Yeah, thats the trouble, I just 4 small sets (5 piece) form Advance when they were on sale, and the 8 piece SAE armstrong set from e bay, and if I ever get off my ***, I have to go pick up the metric set I got waiting at sears.
I have been buying stull I don't need.

Thanks op for posting on the kolbalt compressor! Picked one up at the Port Orchard, WA store for 214.50 and decided to add the 30.00 extended 2yr. Warranty. Think I should of not gotten the warranty but oh well for the price I got the compressor its not that bad.

Just a heads up. I went to the other store in the area with printouts of various low prices. Buddy needs a compressor.
Their price was $369. They told me "no way, its a clearance item."
Not everyone is getting these super low deals. I got mine for $265.

Don't feel bad. I called three stores; my two closest NE Ohio stores and an Erie Pa store I go to ocasioanally on travels, and they all said no way jose' to the $183. I'll keep my eye on them for a little while.

Wiha 8 piece soft grip pliers set for around $10 each seems like a pretty good deal to me for around $82, normally $153 ($122 on Amazon, $120 at chadstoolbox.com and chad's says it price matches 115% so I guess you could get this from them for around $70?):

They wouldn't budge off $459 at any of the Kansas City stores. It doesn't show up as a discontinued / clearance item in the system here.

The $183 price also shows up at the Denver store.

All the places around here won't price match non-stock items. Went through that with some gladiator stuff before so wasn't holding out much hope. Other than a manager in a good mood. Got one to split the difference with me one time.

napa has a 1.99 can special which *****. haven't seen any advance, pep boys, autozone deals though.

On the compressor deals, I am wondering if the stores that are denying the "clearance" price only have the new style in stock? I was at one of my local Lowe's stores yesterday and they have the new 30-gallon 155 psi compressor on the floor. It is not a Sanborn unit like the one that is being clearanced out. It is a re-badged Campbell Hausfeld...
