Never heard of that seller before... figured it was worth a shot for the larger wrenches sizes alone.

They'll pulling down products rapidly now.

Looks like it was a massive test or huge mistake. Everything is now listed as "unavailable."

There were 24,000 products in the store, now 11,000.

My feeling is that this was a massive screwup on the part of the seller, and that they might have even listed products they don't have to sell. One minute they had 24,000 items in their Amazon store, the next they had 11,000, with all the ones with crazy pricing gone without a trace.

Sometimes this thread works better than coffee.

You aint kidding. It's quite a rush at times. I am still recovering from Kobalt compressor fever which I did not get I must say disappointedly. While I've frivolously bumped this thread up I would like to share a question that I’ve always wondered and must admit it’s almost bothered me at times. It is why this thread would only have four stars instead of five. Who actually took the time to vote and said; "ehh, I only kind of like a deal, some of the time, maybe." Just seems bizarre to me. :wtf: Thanks for the vent.

Heh. I don't have much luck with SK discount prices on Amazon. Sellers always seem to cancel the orders or ship the wrong items. Tired of the hassle.

16pc set is ~$40 after shipping.

Does anyone have experience with this seller? They have a couple of insanely good deals, and a few ridiculously high prices. Worth the risk?

I just bought that exact same set on ebay for $60 with free shipping. I was a little worried when I found out I won it, and no one else bid on it. I thought it was too good to be true, and I was afraid I was gonna get ripped.

I didn't even need it, just figured I'd bid on it. If I won, then hey it's a good deal. If not... no loss. Am I the only one that does that?

BTW, if you're looking for an individual replacement for a lost Gearwrench, I found Menard's to be the best place to find the singles... they're cheaper than any where else I've found.

Sorry for the hijack.

I have a tendency to bid on things without due dilligence, for example I bid on a pair of aircompressors at a surplus auction site unseen, come to find out one of them is a Quincy top of the heap Q25 series with a 25HP Baldor and all sitting on a 350 gallon tank weighing in at over 2500lbs!

So I get one compressor I can actually fit into a small trailer, and now I'm off to WV to buy a skid loader so I can "move" the other one from the site it sits at.

For you compressor buffs like myself this pupply can deliver substained 95 SCFM @ 195psi, ya, thats not a typo, this thing moves some air!

If anyone has an interest in this BEAST let me know, you can come help me move it!

Nevermind my warning, then! When I checked a few mins ago, the listing was gone. Maybe it was just being updated? $15 is $2 lower than it was earlier.

Pulled the trigger at $14.99. My 1 adjustable wrench is lonely.

Whoa! BIG thread!
Hope I'm not repeating someone else, but watch some of those deals listed. Ive included a couple of examples. That sanding block must have a hell of a lot of memory...
Common sense and verifying elsewhere before purchase should work.
