Someone ran to Slickdeals and posted the Dewalt Drill deal along with the trick to get lower price. Better move fast.

Edit:
Nevermind. Lowes pulled the item online. Looks like your only option is to try and find them in your local store.

Got one with parcel shipping for $43 using the above trick. Use store number 98408 (S. Tacoma). Then when you go to you main browser just place the order and instead of store pickup it'll be shipped. (ie $35 + $7.99 shipping)..

Probably a better chance of getting it IMHO.

and this thread has become almost useless. its called hot deal index. Sometimes as i wade thru all the jibber jabber i think i'm reading in the free parking. yea i know this is one more post thats not a deal but who really gives a ****, i dont. if i have to read everybodys tool reviews just to find the next hot deal then nobody should mind this one rant. if it really bothers ya just skip it.

You can always get a refund, and go somewhere else.

Now, run off and play. The adults are talking...

For anyone in central MO I was in the columbia mo store and they had 3 but wouldnt or couldnt mark them down to $79, Moberly MO had 8 left I was able to get the last 4 at t he ST charles store for $79.

The manager at the columbia store said there was no way to tell when they would drop, (he also stated he only had one to sell even though there were 3 sitting there gee I wonder who was getting the other 2?) the St Charles manager said they go down at 2pm but sold them to me at 115pm for the lower price. So your mileage may vary.

I definitely don't need another drill, but the price is attractive. The only problem is that no one (reviews) seems to like the batteries. Is it even worth it?

Another Dewalt drill deal!

http://www.lowes.com/pd_27587-70-DC...gId=-1&errorURL=UserAccountView&storeId=10151

This is the 18v (XRP) 1/4" impact driver kit for $83.60 (DC825KA). It looks like most or all Lowe's stores have it for that price. They may be blowing them out for the DC827KL which is the same specs but Li-Ion. It is $206 on Amazon and $249 at Home Depot. It was just posted on Slickdeals so get on this one quick!

made in china:thumbup:

I couldn't find COO anywhere, but I don't doubt it's Chinese. Even so the cheapest price I could find anywhere was $280. I actually need a vise so $100 delivered with a lifetime warranty seemed too good to pass up. We'll see if I actually get one or not.

Man, someone give me a reason to add this vise to my 6" jaw tradesman 1760. A great deal, I'm struggling not to buy it! But I don't think I can justify it because I have no idea what I'd do with another vise lol.

Grainger lists the COO as China for this vise. I may still give it a go, as the price is great. Anybody have experience with Wilton China made stuff--junk or good value?

Everytime I added it to my cart and went to proceed to checkout, it disappeared. THEN when I tried to fill out my shipping/billing information it wanted me to select the municipality. There are powers at be keeping me from buying that drill!

^ Me too on the P-540 shears. Not sure if I'll use them or not, but for that price... It's direct through Amazon, so hopefully it doesn't get cancelled.

In for a Kett myself. I have a single cut Milwaukee already, but a double cut for $22 is nice to have.

As for the Wilton for $99, I doubt it will ship. Toolking's site lists them at $300, and if you click on "8 new from $99.99" you see Toolking listed twice, once at $99 and once at $300.

The Kett is showing as none in stock but still lets me add it to the cart. Think I will get one?

I bought one after they ran out and added a 1/4" drive Beta socket to get free shipping. I expect to have a socket I don't need and no sheers.

Thanks for the heads up on the vise. I'd already ordered one, and it shows as "shipping soon." For what's it's worth the product page showed it as weighing 86 lbs when I placed my order. We'll see.
