Forget checking online stock, I have yet to find it accurate on anything I've found on clearance, even the open computer at both HD's showed no monster 8' component video cables in stock, I found some in both.

It lied abou the Rigid 15" DP returning 3 in stock near me at one store and I searched from top to bottom and found none.

BTW the Lindstrom Pliers RX 8150 Micro Bevel nips on ebay, he returned my email and said $12 each shipped on my offer for three, just sent him cash directly thru PP.
I'm curious of how these will compare to the excelite 170m's I've used for years, anyone ever used them?

haha, thanks. In cart....time to check out. Maybe I will see what else there is. damn this thread!! at least the wiha did **** me in. Sears and pickup the next day is just to tempting.

I actually like the non reverse-able ones a lot better. I have some reverse-able ones and don't like how you can only get on the fastener from one side and they always flip from tighten to loosen on me.

But the real question is only metric or sae as well? I rarely really use SAE stuff

Thanks for that :bounce:
BTW - SEARS5OFF50 works for this (provided you get the standard and metric flex heads which puts you barely over 50).

I bought the flex heads a week ago from true value (same price as sears I think). They showed up today. Buying the metric X beams now. $24+tax is just to cheap to pass up.

I didn't think much of the xbeams myself until I got a set and I love them.

Won't be long until all of GW is COO so does anyone know if these are Chinese or Taiwan? I'd be wanting a set of each just to have if they're not Chinese because they're dissapearing quickly and in my opinion from having both, there is a difference.

Did anyone get those stubby williams that were on ebay? Comments?

BTW Sears has those open end ratcheting wrenches half price again, 4 for $12.50 both SAE and MET

Well so I need to go pick up my new Gearwrenches. I hate this thread.

Normally, I'm anti import tools, but I'll make a exception for those flex ratcheting wrenches.

I would pass on these. I bought a set and they really don't work very good....I was pretty excited about them but they really don't work as good as they say. Maybe that is why they are only 12.50 now.

That Hobart 187 is a DEAL!! I would have bought that if I didn't have my MM211

Thanks! I ordered one....

you good sir, ****

Ive got one page open that shows in stock and another that open that shows sold out

Edit- Man I hope you dont get the Hobart autoarc 130. Buy.com says this item is sold from wayfair and I checked Google. Their page is showing the autoarc at the exact same price, the 187 is still above $800. Good luck and for what its worth I know TSC was clearance-ing these out as well.

Its not an opinion, there is a difference. The ring is quite a bit fatter and the entire beam is thickened which makes both the open and box ends a bit worse for those really tight areas. Gearwrench is still dirt cheap and absolutely worth it despite the change for the worse but its a shame.

Yeah, I dicked around on the welder and lost out. It was available when I clicked, thought about it for a while, then went to buy and it was sold out. Congrats if anyone gets them, but I smell a pricing mistake. This is my 2nd failed attempt at getting a welder via this thread. LOL

Looks like you cleaned them out Ed. :wtf:

I'm only about 100 miles away... how about I swing over and borrow it sometime :D

Congrats on a hell of a good deal on that Hobart

My Buy.com order confirmation said it was the MIG 187, but I got a Wayfair.com email this morning saying my order for a Hobart Autoarc 130 Welder (500549) was being processed. Bummer...

I'm wondering if it would be better to let them ship and then call if there is a problem when they arrive? If they ship a 130, I would call customer service and say I received the wrong item. They would be more inclined to correct it and ship the right one. But if you call now they will just cancel the orders.

New third party seller, bail before it gets messy, especially with a notice that its a different product.

Man!

I'm debating between the flex heads or x-beams....can't decide. :headscrat

I got both for that price and used the $5 off coupon - note if you type in the coupon code SEARS must be in caps.
Also I'm short on funds due to all the other "deals" issues I've been dealing with so I put the XL xbeams on layaway.

Just checking in to the " I didn't get my SK ratchet" thread for the day. Can we all just move on. If you got one great. If not too bad. This deal had been beat to death.

Would be nice if we had a subforum, and then it would just be one thread you could stop checking once you lost interest.

I'd like a hot deals forum, with individual deals sub forums also. Then it would be easier to track deals

I agree, that would help alot with the followups to the deals that went well or went sour. like a sub forum for each major seller; sears, wihatools, grainger, etc. and the main forum for one off's and peeps looking for a deal on a certain item.

- also if your a "insert seller" hater, you just dont subscribe to that one and wont be bothered with the emails or updates.
