Apologies if it's been mentioned already, but Amazon has the Dewalt DCK211S2 12-Volt Max Drill/Driver / Impact Driver Combo Kit for $162, plus an extra battery, less a $25 coupon, so $137 and free shipping for the kit and third battery. Down from $144 around Black Friday.

Husky 16 in. Red Fabric Pull-Up Handle Tool Bag

$30 online, but $19 in store (picked one up yesterday). Includes 4 parts bins as pictured. Even if you value the parts bins at only $2 apiece, that brings the cost of the bag itself down to $11.

Craftsman raised panel 6-point wrenches are on sale today. I just picked up the SAE 12-piece set and the metric 12-piece set. Less than $50 total after using SEARS5OFF50. I don't consider these go-to combination wrenches (I prefer a good 12-point), but they're nice to have for backing up bolts while impacting, etc. At this price, they're also good to have around for cutting/bending/welding to make custom tools. Both of the sets I got today were made in the USA.

Craftsman 12 pc. Standard 6 pt. Combination Wrench Set

Craftsman 12 pc. Metric 6 pt. Combination Wrench Set

A bunch of the other raised panel combination sets are on sale too. I didn't see any of the made in China raised panel wrenches in my local store, though I'm sure they're coming. I was a bit surprised to see that the finish on the ones I got today is better than the ones I bought 15 years ago.

I have a set of these and I love them. I just bought two more as gifts and two for my kids when they are older.

Compare on wihatools.com at over $70

Nice!

I was on the fence about it last week at $34, but at this price I ordered one set for me, one for my father.

Note: p at end of link needs to be capitalized. As-is, I get an error, but the following link works just fine: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00945152000P

Amazon price comparison (currently showing $41)

I've been pondering that kit and the screwdriver kit for 6 months, the $25 dewalt promotion made it extremely tempting but that third battery pushed me over the edge. Great deal.

Do you know the country of origin please?

The ones I purchased from Sears over a year ago have a little tiny "MADE IN GERMANY" molded into the plastic holder. In addition, each individual wrench has "GERMANY" stamped into it. So, I'm going to guess Germany. (Granted, you never know they could have moved production but that seems unlikely to have impacted tools that are currently on clearance.

On a side note, my Wiha High Leverage Insulated Cutters
200mm (8" Long) Cuts To AWG #4
were also made in Germany. However, they do look different from the ones currently on Wihatools.com so maybe they have been moving things around.

The real steal, IMO, was/is the 12pt, 9 piece set (47045) at $13.50 or 55% off. If you need the 9mm, 17mm, and 18mm then sure get the bigger set. The set I got actually looked half-way decent. The 6pt set (47235) is priced the same.

I just got temporarily unavailable, but I think stuff is changing on the Sears site right now.

I have been checking the C3 impact, and the one NiCad battery and charger kit came up $89.99 with in store pickup (before taxes and any other discount codes except the friends and family).

SEars also has the stubby pro screwdrivers for under $20 right now
http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00949305000P?prdNo=2&blockNo=2&blockType=G2

Not that great a deal in terms of % off, but its the lowest I've seen and I absolutely LOVE the way these feel and work. The stubbies you usually get you can't put any power on cuz of short handle; these are full handle w/short blade.

Order 1 of the stubby sets from above, and 2 of the Wiha hex key sets mentioned earlier:

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00945152000P

Apply the "SEARS5OFF50" $5 off coupon. Then add the "Free 30-day ShipVantage trial" and have it all shipped to your house for free. Total comes out to less than $45 before tax.

Remember to cancel the ShipVantage trial *within 24 days* from the Rewards tab within MyProfile or by calling Sears at 1-800-349-4358.

"If you do not cancel your membership in ShipVantage at least 5 days prior to the expiration of the 30 day trial membership, we will automatically enroll you in our ShipVantage Annual Membership for a one time fee of $79.00 (that’s less than $7.00 per month) for 12 months. You will enjoy all the same benefits you’ve enjoyed during your ShipVantage 30 Day Trial Membership-Offer applies only to mailable items sold by Sears & Kmart. Excludes all items sold by Marketplace Vendors. You will be notified by email before you are automatically enrolled and you may cancel your membership in the Rewards tab within MyProfile or by contacting the Sears Customer Care Center at 1-800-349-4358 or the Kmart Customer Care Center at 1-866-562-7848."

From the Terms & Conditions:
"You understand that you are free to cancel your membership at any time during the course of the membership year, but if you do so you will not receive any prorated refund of my membership fee."

Careful with the shipvantage trial period. I have heard tons and tons of stories of people not being able to cancel or cancelling and still being charged.

Didn't we determine the welder was for a different one? Anyone have any luck getting the correct item? Last I heard I thought the best bet was to maybe buy it, get the wrong item, complain, and hope to get the 187? Or did we get further information I missed where it is actually the 187 for a good price?

My email confirmation stated the correct welder and I think that was the discrepancy on the first go around. Wish me luck. I figure worst case I refuse the shipment and dispute the charge.

I think it is the wrong item. Near the bottom of the page I noticed it said
115VAC. Someone mentioned they thought it was a smaller model.

After reading the buy.com guarantee, that they will cover up to $750 for things like getting the wrong item, I bit too. My email also says the correct Hobart 187. We'll see. I just don't want to get into paying to ship it back. I'm sure they'll take the return if it's not the right item, but I bet they try to make me pay for return shipping and their policy claims that you also pay for the original shipping costs if it was originally "free". Hopefully it's the right item or at least that buy.com or the vendor make it right.

I ordered and all the pictures and headings indicate it is the 187. However, the part number (HBW3067) at the bottom is for the 130 and the price for the 130 on the wayfair.com site where the welder ships from is $366.99.

I was about to order as well but I think you are right. I dont know if I can deal with the headache of returning this. Has anyone actually gotten the package yet?

How does the $25 off coupon/offer work on amazon? I dont buy much from amazon but I am in the market for either a bosch or milwaukee 12 volt impact/driver kit.

If it comes and it is obvious from the package that it is the wrong welder then do not open it and refuse the shipment. UPS will send it back to the vendor and you can protest the charge with your cc company. Can not imagine loosing since they will have failed to deliver on their end of the deal.

It will auto-deduct the promotion amount during final check out. Shouldn't need to do anything.

For those interested in the Hobart 187, I contacted Buy.com customer service and was informed if I do receive the wrong item they will provide a return shipping label free of charge. The Wayfair site does show the 187 with cart at a much higher price. But my email confirmation has all the correct info.

Does the email that you mentioned say "Thank you for your order" in the subject line? If it does, that email arrived to me with the correct info. Then a day later I received an email titled "Important details on your Buy.com order with Wayfair" and it stated Hobart Autoarc 130 Welder (500549)
