They don't ratchet, for one... they do have the cross-beam part down I'm willing to bet the Kobalt's have a better contact area.

Weird, I bought them over a month ago, brought them home and used them to turn a few bolts (better evaluation than looking at them IMO). Felt like at least $40 wrenchs . I was happy to have my $20 back on the price adjustments for both sets. I had originally paid $25/ea for them and thought they were a good deal at that price. Have you seen crossform/x beam style wrenchs for less? Where are the $10 version?

It is a good deal, and thank you for sharing... I just thought it was a shockingly good deal when I saw JH Williams for $13 shipped, investigated and then realized that the JH Williams Taiwan stuff is reasonably priced to begin with.

That's not really the comparable Bondhus set since it doesn't have a screwholding function. For a Bondhus equivalent to MagicRing you'd want the ProHold combo set, 20499. I know I said this before (and recently), but I prefer Bondhus ProHold over Wiha MagicRing.
